      They're fantastic speakers, if you were to listen to them in person you'd hear the great sound quliaty they offer. Feel free to come book a demo if you're popping into Coventry anytime!

      I'm well aware that these speakers will sound fantastic in person, I currently own a pair of MA MR6, I was just being sarcastic as some people do genuinely use youtube as way of hearing how a set of speakers sound and of coarse we know that to be a false method.

      Haha, i did think that when i read the comment 😂 Although it is suprising the amount of people who will listen online and judge before taking a listen! Thanks for the comment James.

      It might be worth liooking at the Denon PMA600NE, or something along those lines. There's a few Denon/Marantz amplifiers that would do you.

    Do the Monitor audio monitor 200 have enough bass in them? Can I add to them Monitor audio bronze center speaker? Thanks.

      It has decent bass but it all comes down to personal preferance to sound - they will work with the MA Bronze Centre fine.

    With only a pair of monitor 200, do you think it wolud need a subwoofer?

    • @HifixCoUkFrankHarvey
      @HifixCoUkFrankHarvey  5 лет назад +1

      The monitor 200's are fantastic, adding a subwoofer would add a better bass response and a wider sound response too.

      @@HifixCoUkFrankHarvey thanks for the reply! Do you think that the Cambridge topaz AM5 can drive the monitor 200? It has an output power of 25w or it would be better the onkyo TX8220?

    • @HifixCoUkFrankHarvey
      @HifixCoUkFrankHarvey  5 лет назад

      @frambhueee No problem - We haven't much experience with the Topaz AM5 as we don't supply Cambridge Audio equipment unfortuantly. The Monitor 200's are quite easy to run and judging just by specs it could do the job, but the Onkyo TX8220 might be your best bet to drive the speakers more efficiently.
      The Denon AVR's may be worth looking into, most are compatible with the Monitor 200's are have won What Hi Fi awards - www.hifix.co.uk/manufacturer/denon?cat=295

      I couldn't recommend these highly enough with the Denon Dm41. This is a set up we have been using in the showroom and it has been very popular.

    Always baffles me why speaker reviews on YT include an audio sampling segment. Any such sample will only be at best as good as the listeners speakers. I plugged my PC into my Technics amp to hear this through my Monitor 200s (so like for like), but even then. I'm sure that the PC sound circuitry would have ruined the experience.

    They bothered to make them handed, that gives them extra points in my opinion.

    Denon amplifiers or receivers are rubbish! Try the yamaha or old school technics then you'll hear what these speakers are capable of.
    each to their own. ..I guess.

      We have Yamaha amps in store to buy and on demo, they are fantastic, but Denon amps and receivers have always been great on our end.
