The spear has to get moved to a medium weapon slot if its going to stay how it is. While fun to use, it feels like it has no real downside to bringing it.

I know on paper it isn’t very good but it’s just so fun and that skin from last season is just so classy. Running around as Hardin or Hackshaw with this rifle makes me feel like a real bounty hunter.
The most overpowered BS weapon ever added to Hunt by a mile. Give everyone a one-shot fast throwable that does way too much damage to bosses. Oh, it's also a better melee weapon than most (if not, all) dedicated melee weapons. As a tool. And you can throw two of them. Why even carry a shotgun when you can carry a rifle with a throwing spear? Not long ago, they made bosses difficult to kill by removing axes/hammers/shovels that were lying around everywhere, and nerfed tool melee against bosses. They wantwd to make bosses more interesting and difficult. Then, they ad the throwing spear, which trivializes every boss in the game, as a TOOL. These people don't understand game design.

In games like this you die tens of times by walking and getting shot by a random player that sees you first Randomly moving and jumping makes you a harder target to hit when somebody is seeing you but you dont are aware of his presence. It becomes a habit linked to the paranoia of being killed since in this game one or two shots are enough to kill you. When you're fighting someone, shooting and then jumping to the side causes an eventual shot to hit your arm instead of your chest, or to hit your chest instead of your head, reducing damage.

the downside is imma throw the shit, miss and then have no melee until recovery which is mostly impossible mid shoot out

Can anyone tell me why people with high MMR are always bunny hopping about ? Is there a benefit?
It helps lift/lower the head so headshots on you are harder to pull off.
