Great Trip! 30 years ago when I moved to Las Vegas, the popular jewelry was a nugget design, the rings, and watch bands everyone wore were a "lumpy" nugget look. I wish I could up-load a pic so you could see what I'm talking about. : (

I thoroughly enjoyed your fossicking in our lovely mainland river. I don’t know why YT algorithm suggested your video but I’m glad it did. So much better hearing a local Aussie accent instead of the usual American ones so prevalent on YT.
Great video as always as with all the rivers and creeks are all different sometimes the gold is only on bedrock and some will be in gravels depending on blacks sand and heavies and of cause the big floods
