I picked upon that! I also noticed that at 23:36, the timing on the "ding" and Johnny saying "boom" with the score change was FRAME-PERFECT! Just go to 23:42 and put it on 0.25x speed. It literally couldn't be more perfect if they had planned it. I'm talking about LITERALLY frame-perfect. In FGC terms, that timing was JUST-FRAME.
Smart? Yes, smart. Mk requires timing and strategy. I can’t play it, yet I have pretty high intelligence and dominate most digital RPGs. The old school ones, like, Lufia and Illusion of Gai. Oh yeah, I kicked the hell out of Legend of Legaia and didn’t even learn the more advanced martial arts moves. My point card at the end of the game was devastating lol. Yes, strategy and determination.
I am still sitting here smiling the widest smile possible. I am so happy for you! Remember when I saw you for the first time in some video (about MKX I believe?). Somewhere around late 2016. I was completely blown away by the way you played. I believe I haven’t missed a single set with you ever since. You opened a door into the world of fighting games for me and you single-handedly responsible for my decision to go deeper into fighting games, actually learn some things and even reaching demi-god in KL in MK11! Maybe for a lot of folks here it’s just average Tuesday, but for me it was absolutely unbelievable achievement. From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you! You know what’s crazy. Sonic still manages to be extremely precise while also shaking like a mf. When they pan to Sonic and Nic, Sonic is hella shaky, but stays composed and plays. Shits incredible, and one of the reasons why they have been so dominant for a decade+.
