This is super! I'm learning the piano in my old age, and this is what I aspire to! The second tune is Columbia, Gem of the Ocean, known to Ulster Orangemen as The Green Grassy Slopes of the Boyne. It was a contender for the American national anthem, until replaced by The Star-Spangled Banner
I plan someday to learn to play the Piano but for now just happy restoring the old Piano rolls and player piano. This roll was fixed with minor tears. Thanks for the comment about the second tune I did not know that it was a separate tune, it reminded me of Yankee doodle dandy. I also have a tune Ulster (Irish) Patriotic (Irish Liberation forgot the exact title) song..maybe I will pull it out and record it some day.
A ghost can't be playing since more than ten notes are played at a time making it a four hand piano song so either animation or mechanics or "ghosts" but multiple
Yea. I've already created a list of must-haves: 1. 1850's-90's square grand pianos for my front foyer 2. Pedal-Powered Player Piano 3. coin-operated player piano 4. Square fortepiano from the late 1700's 5. Concert Grand 6. 1820's-1830's cabinet grand or giraffe pianos (neat to have but not essential) 7. Some form of spinet/virginal 8. maybe a harpsichord 9. Pedal-Powered Reed Organ 10. A collection of music boxes and barrel pianos.
I am in the opinion that this video sounds a great deal better at 1.25x speed. Try it for yourselves, tell me what you think.
I will try that

Somehow the animation is oddly satisfying
I have three different versions of this roll. All issued by a different company...
How come the piano is playing by itself?
It's a hundred year old player Piano
Arvind Mallya What is that?
How come it plays by itself?
This a player piano playing a paper roll with the music on it
What's a paper roll?
Where does the energy come from ?
How did you make the keys go down without touching them?
This is a player Piano with a paper roll I should have shown you that and it would make sense. The Piano is from 1916 and roll from around that period
