He basically said this recipe is super easy. 1.1.1.1.1. So 1cup chili paste, 1 cup soy sauce, 1 cup sugar (he uses brown and the demarara kind), 1 cup cooking wine, 1 tablespoon grated or minced garlic. And he also throws in 1 cup of Korean chili powder the coarse kind for some color, flavor and extra spice. But this ingredient is more adjustable. Dash of pepper to your liking
