All Evtols are noisy because they need a "fan" or propellers to move... so, you can't complain about that. You'll have to wait 10 or 20 more years for them to find a way to make it less noisy without losing efficiency. With a lot of "luck" 3 or 5 years maybe.

It's amazing how the quadcopter concept has evolved. But this still looks like it needs a lot of work to be viable. A helicopter is a much better option from the autonomy (range), safety, price (for now) and comfort point of views. There is no way these things will fly around town without proper aviation permissions due to airspace control.
They made it better now I suppose ,they just showed one like this in U.S.,a year later ! Japan is always the 1st when it comes to new technology stuff !! Well, we have to cut some slack to this flying bike. It's still a prototype too loud for a city use but it's functional. This ,in my opinion, is NOT a design that will remain like this. The amount of power required is huge and the 'fans' don't seem to push up the thing higher. Maybe the guy didn't try to go higher because of safety, after all he didn't had any securing harness, he just used it as a regular bike . But in time things will evolve as all prototypes do till the first final commercial product PPs: It's a good start , (jk) at least the freaking thing didn't flipped on him and dragging his head on the ground 😅 like in cartoons.

And I also know that it's a developing technology but as it was announced in the media it seemed like a revolutionary thing. A gigantic drone that can't stay in the air for more than 30 minutes. We still have a long way to go.
