Absolutely. There's not a single weak track on it. Though imo Heaven is the standout track on it. YOu only have to watch the entire Wembley audience sing the first verse to him in 1986 after the intro, before he starts the whole of Wembley erupts.

It's one the few "perfect" albums, every track i'd give my eye teeth to have written just one line of lyric. I drove 160km to collect a CD Copy from 1986, just to get the original sound, I didn't want to risk it being lost in the post. I sits in my "Desert Island" collection alongside, Bat Out Of Hell, Exile On Main Street, Back In Black, Thin Lizzy's Live and Dangerous and Skynyrds "One More from the Road"

While I might have gotten 'Reckless' on cd (definitely had it on cassette), the first cd I remember hearing was something by Talking Heads -- maybe 'Speaking in Tongues?' Can't remember the song, but I do recall being blown away by the clarity. I'd never heard music over a stereo sound so crystal clear before.

There's nothing like seeing Bryan Adams in concert and the way the crowd gets into his songs. Heaven, Cuts Like A Knife and Summer of 69 are absolutely amazing in concert. Have never seen a bad show of his, but my favorite was in December 1992. Mr Big was the opener and they just played all night long, was almost like they didn't want the show to end. Great memories of his shows, but that one really stands out to this day.

Bryan is the real deal, few touring artists today can match his catalogue of hits. I have been to four Bryan Adams concerts and he is one of the few classic rock singer i have witnessed that sings as good, if not better than he did when he was young, no tuning down of guitars or transposing of keys. Another thing that i really appreciate about Bryan is that its all about the music, no glitter and glam or political agenda. He puts on a t-shirt, a pair of jeans, goes out on the stage and gives his fans what they want.
    Another great video professor.

To me, Summer of ‘69 is THE greatest song of all time. Even today, I’ll sometimes get a nostalgic tear when I hear it from remembering when that song came out, how innocent life was and how great the 80’s were in general. I can also still remember being 5 years old in 1983 and hearing Straight from the Heart and Cuts Like A Knife on the radio for the first time and I’ve been a fan of Bryan’s ever since. If you haven’t heard any of his recent stuff, go check it out. I’ve also admired his wanting to stay out of the spotlight and just make music you can enjoy forever

One of the things that really sets Bryan Adams apart is the production on his records, particularly Reckless. There's so much space around the guitar and the drums. It really sounds huge. And the guitar sound leading into the final chorus of Run to You is incredible.

I don't have a "favorite" song of Bryan Adams because he gave us numerous great songs through the decades. He along with so many other musical geniuses of the 80s, defined the best decade of my life. Bryan Adams became a legend the moment he hit radio stations around the world. And rightfully so... I will say it until I'm blue in the face... The 80s was by far the best era for music (music videos), movies, television, fads, and just being alive. No other decade will ever come close to what we had back then.

BA was and is still my fav. Such an under-rated singer, guitarist, song writer, and live performer. Anyone that has seen him live knows he sounds as great in person as on the albums. I guess he doesn’t get his recognition because he is unassuming but really should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, maybe someday. Great summary list. Someone said earlier the whole Reckless Album could have been on here. But so many classics on The Cuts Like a Knife album (This Time, Straight From the Heart, Best Was Yet to Come) and the underrated Heat of the Night album I loved Home Again, Rebel, and Native Son which all never got all play. Thanks for spotlighting Bryan.

I became a serious BAD fan back in 1999, yes 21 years ago when I was a high school senior. Napster was in its prime, I was getting tired of listening to my peers' gangster rap. So I decided to expand my genres of tunes. I downloaded Summer of 69 back in '99 and fell in love with his tunes. It's also nice that he's from Vancouver as well since I grew up in Vancouver as a kid. As a local guy during my younger years, one of my high school teachers was close classmates with Bryan Adams. She consistently attested that he was determined to make it regardless of his small size and lack of academic ambition. His tunes has an ability to lift my mood.

My parents had the "Cuts Like a Knife" album on cassette; that or "Heaven" is my favorite Bryan song, while my least favorite is "Everything I Do". Somehow, that song is just too overplayed on the radio, and I've just never really cared for it. Another awesome ballad, though, is "When You Love Someone", featured at the end of the movie "Hope Floats", and for upbeat numbers, I'd even go for "Run To You" or his rocking duet with Tina Turner, "It's Only Love"
P.S. Did you know "Heaven" was inspired by Journey's "Faithfully"? Bryan wrote it while he was on Journey's Frontiers Tour in 1983. Also, Bryan, much like Mickey Thomas' vocals on "Fooled Around and Fell in Love", doesn't get the credit he deserves for his background vocals on Glass Tiger's "Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)"

Bryan Adams toured Australia extensively in the 80's/90's, being one of his largest markets outside of Canada. When he hit Adelaide, South Australia, I acquired tickets, and surprised my now wife. As soon as he appeared on stage, every young woman in the room bolted for the front of stage. For nearly 3 hours, I had no idea where she was !! Great show and great memories. 👍👍🇭🇲

It was the same here in South Dakota, went to the concert cause I won free tickets and usual concert then was 60% guys and 40% girls. I didn't notice it at first walking in the parking lot but by the time you made it inside it was definetly 70% girls he put on a good show i think but for my 16 year old mind the crowd stole the show.

I became aware of Bryan Adams as a 9/10 year old back in 1984 with 'The Summer of 69' and 'Run To You'. I liked his music alot but wasn't over the top about him. Then I'll never forget on a Saturday in 1991 when his world debut of his song and video for (Everything I Do) I Do For You on NBC. I got teary eyed listening to that song. Eventually I purchased his 'So Far, So Good' Greatest Hits cassette collection. Bryan is indeed among my top 15 singers and musicians ever! I've got so much of his studio recordings and even rare, live concerts on audio.

I think he has never got the props he deserves. 80's music the best. I thought I was by myself on how I relate music to times in my life . Thanks

The drums on Cuts Like A Knife are a perfect example of a groove that can't be duplicated on a machine. That's what won't allow most modern songs to have staying power. Gotta have that human heartbeat, there is no way around it.

All good songs, but 3 of them are good songs, but may as well break them up. Since 3 of them are from the 90's, just do one for each decade and it should be easy enough to get 5 from each. LOL

A piece on Adams without special mention of is Guitarist, Kieth Scott is not right. He has been such a loyal sidekick for so many years and his playing has been a huge part of Adams success. He's highly respected amongst guitar players but his name is largely unknown by the fans.

I would second that. Bryan plays rhythm mostly. Keith is the main soloist. He is a big part of Bryan's music similar to Mike Campbell's relationship to Tom Petty.

Have always like Bryan. One of the best rockers to come out of the 80’s. As a musician I love to play his songs. They have so much power and I love the guitar work. Saw him live a few years ago and had so much fun. Nothing better than the sound of a Fender Stratocaster through an amp with no tricks or gimmicks! Gotta give some respect to his guitarist Keith Scott!
