I like that you show off both sides of the saw. Good work!
Is it running rich or do the old saws run at a lower rpm? sounds like its 4 stroking in the cut.
The older saws like this one from the early 50's do run at a lower rpm and some like this one have a gear reduction drive but all were 2 strokes.

I tried looking it up on "chainsaw collectors corner" web site but had no luck, tried a few others and still couldn't find it, I'm guessing somewhere between 74 and 94 cc's.
