    Passive income??? For Someone who claims to be an expert on Amazon you should know Amazon is absolutely not passive income. Anybody claiming that has either never sold on Amazon or just taking advantage of people by misrepresenting the Amazon business model to sell a course as easy passive income opportunity which many fake gurus have

    • @boomababe7482

      I've been selling on Amazon FBA for years now and it can be passive if you are able to put systems in place. This is what I did and it allows me to sell my products even if I'm away on vacation for a month or two

    • @hiddensoroush
      @hiddensoroush Месяц назад

      @@TravisMarziani No brother it is NOT passive. You constantly have to track your sales, conversion, ppc and be doing TONS of split tests. You need to update packaging, images, copies and add more and more products because people would copy you and after a few months of doing good and your sales start to drop so you need more products. There is a lot that goes into launching a successful product. From sourcing, product photography, figuring out your sales angle, video, analyzing niches etc. it’s by no means passive income. It constantly needs attention. Sure you may be able to not work for a week or so but the way most people think when you say passive income is that they can buy your course launch 1-2 products and see the profit coming in for years to come and all they have to do is to re order. Which is absolutely not the case. So please do not be one of those gurus and refrain from calling this a passive income. People are tired of the likes of Kevin David. You are better than that.

      @@boomababe7482 I’ve been an Amazon seller for a few years now, I do make money in my sleep. I woke up this morning and saw that I made almost 1k in sales as I slept. And every day when I’m at work doing my day job, I’m making hundreds of dollars on Amazon without having to lift a finger, and it doesn’t interfere with my day job one bit. Am I rich from Amazon sales ? No, but I make enough money to cover my mortgage & utilities, so I can use my day job money for car insurance, groceries, & travel. Amazon is expensive. And I see lots of scalping.
    Chinese for centuries were not warriors, they were traders, and they are fierce traders.
    Americans adjust the price to meet a cost. Chinese adjust the cost to meet the price.
    Many years ago Chinese products were cheap because they used cheap labor. But labor is not cheap anymore. Now they rely on the scale economy as they vertical integration and created clusters of higher tiers.
    But there is even more. In the past Europe (mostly Germany) was competitive because of cheap Russian energy. But with sanctions that ended. So Russia sells its cheap energy to China.
    In the 1980s when Japanese products flooded US shelves, USA made Japan to sign the Plaza Accord that killed competitiveness of Japan. But China cannot be stopped that way. When Yellen arrived to China to complain about overcapacity, she was received by low rank officials, and while she was delivering her complaint to low rank officials, Xi and Putin were signing a trade agreement in the room next door.
    So now our western world is the countryside of the world economy. many people have not realized about it, but it will not take too long before people learn it is the case.

      @@TravisMarziani Yes - we've done that in the past- designed our brand - packaging, logo, website etc and then selected Chinese products onto which we imprinted this brand. We shipped them to the USA from China for FBA sale. Let me tell you, with all the Amazon fees and especially advertising fees, it was tough to break even and make money. Building the brand costs quite a lot of time and money, FBA fees are high (the logistics are superb though), the competitioon is fierce. Some competitors use price monitoring software and when they detect similar products are cheaper, they undercut them by a cent or two - which gives them mpore access to the 'Buy Box', but whih can send all the sellers into a downward price spiral. This suits Amazon very well as they want to be the 'cheapest'. With respect to customer returns, customers get returns no questions asked and the seller carries the cost not only of the product, but disposal of the return. Not al;l returnms are legitimate to say the least. Also, Amazon have long since been known to copy very successful products and then sell their own. It's a very rough market already and Amazon ar now making it worse for the little guy. We won't be going back to Amazon FBA because we udnerstand it rather well. If you have a UNIQUE product and can charge sensible/profitable prices, then it's a good place to sell. But who has that, and how long before your product is copied? Have a great day Travis.
