Highlands really seem like a dream cow. I've got a couple Dexter's that I've loved keeping and these guys seem so friendly.
Thank you for telling us why the difference in registered or non registered is important!
They really are the best cattle on earth with the exception of their slower Grow everything else is a plus
Great video. I am looking for registered heifer and a registered bull. I live in Tennessee and I thank you for the 5 things to look for. God bless.
Been thinking about getting a few highland cows, I have 40 acres and lots of prarie grass with brushy areas and lots of trees, been loving your videos so far
Check out your buyer carefully. Unfortunately some breeders neglect their Highlands. Highlands need to be conditioned to respond to humans by frequent friendly contact. We have had few aggressive or nervous cattle. These are culled and not sold to buyers, esp not novice owners.
That is a very good point, lots of people that want to purchase highlands have no experience with cattle at all.
'neglect' aka. treat their livestock like livestock not pets.
Saw you with Chad from Adler Farms The Highlands are beautiful Good Luck
Great info. We love our Highlands at Junod Acres!
Great info! Thank you.

THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!
Great video. Loved the questions you answered
thanks for that video
Hi! Thanks so much for your videos. We are looking to start our highland cattle journey, what are the current prices we should be looking at? Do you sell any registered highlands?
Wish I was in the position to raise Highlands.
Moose just wants some lovin dad..haha
Would these be good for a small homestead? If not what breed would I recommend for a 2 acre homestead
Really enjoyed this video and have been learning a lot from you! Wanting to get some highland cattle but my concern is that it gets too hot here in Oklahoma for them. Have you had any issues or do they do fine in the summer?
Calves being born in the hot part of the summer have real trouble with flies where they get fly strike. Other than that we’ve had no issues. If they have shade and clean water they will do fine. I know lots of people in TX that raise them also
@@100AcreWoodHighlands perfect, I also just watched your video on 3 reasons to buy them and you explained it well on there! Thanks so much
Hi! My dream is to have an highland cattle!! This video was really interesting! Do you know if there is an association like that in Canada?
Yes there is a Canadian highland association! Highlands do great in canada
Is pepper playing or annoyed?
Can you bring livestock over the border? I live in oklahoma also
State lines are pretty easy. Just have to get a vet form filled out that says they’re in good health.
I subscribed
Can you use these cows for personal milk production?
If I want to breed them to sell the offspring is it best to register them or not?
Did you listen to the video?
Hello I realize this was awhile ago we on a crazy whimsical movement thought hey mini Bulls why not’ mini Scott Bulls now what do we do!! We only have Bucking Bull that we buck in PBR events and Velocity! My baby Bulls are still on the Bottle/ great eaters! We know we have a couple weeks left on bottle! When can we grain? 😊
Should you not already know that?

I wanna go home from EU Denmark
Cows are in Pastures not fields. Ha
Hov,. ???? Breed ??? Or
They were cut for woll.
Why would you dare even THINK about murdering those cuties!!!😠
Highland cows are notoriously aggressive when bred outside of Scotland. They dont react well to non Scottish climate. Its a climate you cant find anywhere in North America
You're trolling right?
Im in chock,. Im education farmer,. No animal but small, pets,. But this location. Horror farmers
HOW CAN YOU HAAVE AN ANIMAL AAS A FAMILY MEMBER AND THEN KILL IT TO EAT THEIR MEAT? I DOULDN´T DO IT.
