Understand that you are currently operating in the frame of thinking that you may not be alive when he is a young adult because that is what happened with you and your dad. Keep a journal for things you want to share with your son. That way you write it down for him to get at an appropriate time and he is not being expose prematurely to adult things. I love you Roy!

I love how relatable his decision to leave the Daily Show was for my journey. I had 2 businesses since 2015 - one in marketing and one in real estate. The pandemic gave me the opportunity to devote more time to my businesses and LESS time to the job I had from 2011 - 2021. While I loved that work, I realized WHERE I was in 2021 it was time to move on and grow these businesses that I have so much passion for.

I played football & basketball so I didn't isolate myself in 'white' sports like tennis or soccer either. So I consider myself fully integrated and had plenty of friends of either color. You could say I felt comfortable and accepted sitting at any lunch table in the cafeteria.

Just quit my job of two decades and he totally verbalised how I feel, no clue what the future holds but I'll figure it out

The key is to change jobs every three years. No one should sink twenty years into a job. There is no growth in doing that.

RWJ is a great mind... but I think he did what he thought was best for him and his family. He also made the Daily Show's decision easier. Now, let's look into the future. Trevor was hand-picked by John, who is picking the next host? Do you Roy, but I will not be surprised if they come calling you 4-5 years later to host. Then it's your decision again. That's power!

I can't believe the Daily Show didn't offer Roy Wood Jr. that job, he was the most suited for it. Instead they're trying out all these losers, who don't get me to tune in. I would have tuned in every day with Roy at the helm. SMH. They've been on a downward spiral since Jon Stewart left.

It didn't bother me in 2016 that comedians were enjoying the easy laughs of DT. It scared the hell out of me that news media and reporters loved the easy coverage. No research was necessary, because he piled his shit show higher every day and they just looked at what was on the top of the pile.
