- this vlog is about the dymo label manager 160. It is a great tool for creating label for most of the things that you have, for organizing things or show ownership of things. The print out is a sticker that stick mostly on clear surface. Dymo also sell different types of cartridge with different colors.
I bought it from staples here in canada but you can also buy it from amazon with the price of $32.

For anybody that is trying to save paper I would suggest to write all the words you need in a sentence leaving a normal space or two between words with the space bar. Then print it out and cut between words with a scissors instead of printing each word individually.
same thing that I do if i have to print lot of names. And even if its just 1 word, i still cut the excess.
i believe u can play w/ the margins and also do chain print to save tape
We have this same Dymo label maker and it's a great thing to have in the kitchen. It makes organizing and looking for condiments and other ingredients a breeze. The kids love it too, easy to use. Most of their school stuffs have labels on them, so kiddies can easily find their stuffs. we label EVERYTHING in the house with this little machine, it was a great buy!
I totally agree! my first free cartridge was used sparingly but then i found a cheaper one at amazon. now even use it to label a microwave that its a microwave. hahaha. just kidding.

Mine doesn't work. Put in the correct batteries AAA. Loaded cartridge and nothing happens when I look at the display.

Can you help me fix a label manager that won’t feed labels?
if it jammed, you may have pulled the sticker after printing instead of cutting. Remove the cartridge then rotate it back just like the old day radio cassette tapes. if its really not working. you need to replace cartridge with new one. Just avoid pulling the printout

I have the same Dymo and it’s only cycling from 8-10-12 font size. I JUST printed a label last night that was size 20 or 24 font?! I don’t get it?? Can someone please help me? I’m pushing the same button as on this demonstration. HELP! Thank you anyone in advance for your assistance?! Thank you!
what tape size are you using. Im using 1/2 inch tape size. if your using small size like 1/4, bigger font size will not fit the tape. You can buy in amazon for the cheaper version of the tape than the original.

press the button with different letter A sizes. You will notice in the screen that theres a number that change every time you press it. those numbers are 8, 10, 12 and 24. 24 is the largest font then it will cycle back to 8
Are the batteries included?
batteries not included. you may also buy adapter if you dont want using batteries. Im using rechargeable batteries. if batteries have no more charge, your print out will not be clear as if you dont have ink.
Figured it out. Display is faint
no backlight for this model. I guess you need the label maker made by brother. model number is PT-E300
Hi, my font is only going up as big as 12. Help lol
if its the same model, it should go up to 24. just press the AAA button besides the power button

i guess 160e have emoji button instead of orientation.
to make more money on the tapes, all label makers waste tape with those margins. Big profit for them.
thats true, it has something to do with the design. you can buy cheaper alternative though. the original tape is around $35 for 2. but you can but online $25 for 5pcs.

maybe label was pulled thats why it messed already. if you have new cartridge, try to install it properly. buy cartridge from amazon, around $25 for 5pcs.
