I lost my (adopted) baby sister, Margaret Clouse Murphy this past Saturday night. And I discovered this cover of "Go Rest High On That Mountain". Not realizing that Scotty'friend Yameer died in a car accident. Margaret too died in a car accident.

Recently lost my Mother at 101 years young, and I chose this as one of the songs played at her Funeral .
My Mother became a Fan of Scotty, after listening to him on American Idol !
Had I known Scotty did this cover, I may have had this version played, as opposed to the Vince Gill version !
I'm sure she would have loved them both !

Lost my youngest daughter 3 years ago to a very server car wreck She was the driver. there was one that lives to remember!. Her friend and her were only 20. They bother left one child each behind sons. I was watching my beautiful daughters son that night. Its a call I will NEVER forget. We could not even view her due to, well I dont want to remember but I can not forget ....so sorry for your lost young man. Prayers to the family and friends. It is a pain that never ENDS!!!

Wow solo you nailed it made me cry my mom is hospital waiting to go to another hospital on hospice care I won't be able to get to see her my sister is a angel she with her now! I am talking care of my boyfriend that has multiple myeloma had transplant on 3 6 20 and it's back but he is a purple heart so he is a trooper he tried to help my family and his family but I am his caregiver he can't be left alone my whole family died of cancer or heart disease God bless everyone I feel your pain but we will be with them soon!🙏🤟😷 I love music comes from the heart!❤
