Thanks for the great review. I will hopefully look forward to a follow up someday. I love Animal Well so much. Probably my favorite game. I've played through it about 10 times. First time blind was pure magic. I resorted to hints as little as possible, in that firstplaythrough. At the time I felt very dirty about it too. Then, when I started searching for the bunnies, I found about half of them without hints which made me adequately proud of myself. Since then I've watched some speedruns and basically know where everything is now, and I can get all the eggs and items and win in a few hours. And let me tell you, I still yearn to play the game often. I yearn to be in the well, and once I can shed the rest of my day and spend some alone time in The Well, it's bliss. It is the most relaxing thing for me to start a new game, without putting too much pressure on myself, and try to play more efficently and smoothly. Once I got the disc jump bunny on my first try and that achievement was very gratifying. I havent been able to repeat it yet, but one day I hope to be locked in. There are so many little things you can do to improve, it seems like there is no end to the satisfaction I can get from multiple plays. Another thing worth mentioning, it's been a joy watching my 6yo son experience Animal Well. It's maybe unintentionally a great game for younger kids who cant read yet. I'm just gonna say it Animal Well is goated. I could go on and on and on, maybe one day I'll make my own video and do just that.
thanks for watching! I havent learned many advanced techniques yet but its cool seeing what people can do. very thoughtful comment, you could make your own well video yourself if you wanted to haha
@@tallskeleton wait I feel like I'm being less mean to you than you were to yourself, like of course you feel lost in the first 15 minutes, you gotta give yourself time to figure things out. I believe in you!
Great review! As others wrote, give another chance to Hollow Knight, I promise it is worth it. Yes the first minutes feel daunting, but soon you don't get lost anymore. If you want to give up and don't know where to go next, try asking in some community for the next steps, I'm sure people will help you without spoiling anything.

I'm so glad this game was a hit. Big Mode has set the bar high!
