D: Do you read more in the morning or at night?
A: Are there any books that changed the way you thought about things?
Y: YA or Not?
A: Are there characters that you honestly believe are real?
N: Nobody touches my books or I don't mind loaning my books out?
D: Do you ever smell your books?
N: Not everyone loves books...is this a positive or a negative?
I: I keep my books in the best condition or maybe not? Which are you?
G: Gosh I have to many books! True or False?
H: Have you ever spilled or stained your books before with something, and if so how?
T: Toned or untoned while reading? . . or in other words. . .Do you read and workout at the same time?
I enjoy the one dollar bill being used as a book mark in the background.
I love reading and people always say to me "Why are you so boring?" OR "Reading's boring." It hurts my feelings, but I still read because it is my life.
I accidentally put my copy of The Book Thief in my book bag and then put a wet bathing suit on top of it. Not my greatest moment.
The Harry Potter-Story is kind of heartwarming, beautiful!! :)
Some of my books have become scented over the years. Back in high school, one of my friends gave me some Ent Scent incense sticks which ended up getting buried in my then- pile-o-books. When I went to dig a couple out for research senior year (one that was analyzing LotR and The Silmarillion, appropriately enough), they smelled like the Ent Scent. I had to try and keep myself from smelling them when others were around.
Wow the Giver was a life changing story me too when I was in elementary school! It was one of my favorites and most interesting for the same reasons. Haha. Weird I never thought about it until you mentioned it
I was the same way with The Giver, it's still one of my favorite books. My Harry Potter books (1-4) are similar. They are all banged up, no dust jackets, loose spines, some stains, and one has some drops of glitter nail polish on it. While they might be ugly now, it also shows how much a part of my childhood they were and how many re-readings they have gone through!
Do you see the money as a bookmark for Going Bovine?
MY FRIEND LOST MY HARDCOVER COPY OF DIVERGENT AND NOW I ONLY HAVE A SOFT COVER MOVIE COVER UGH
omg - what if that person said to be quiet because he was hearing the basilisk like Harry did?!!? 0o0 LOL
Thanks for linking me! :D Yeah, considering you never get up before 12pm I think you read at night, LOL! The second question confused me, too. I was like duh books have shaped the way I think about everything! I remember reading The Giver for school, too, and was really weirded out/interested in the dystopian concept. I wish there weren't so many dystopian novels out/coming out right now. Kind of saturating the market. It seemed like EVERYONE was making an end of the world NaNo
Love your channel !!!
The Giver! I LOVE that book! I'm so excited for the movie!
Aww, I kind of envy kids who got to grow up along with Harry Potter. I read them as an adult (obviously) and my kids are younger so the whole series was out by the time they read them. I think it would have been cool to read them a book a year as they came out and have the characters grow up as you did!
I read while walking sometimes, I mean I bang into things but its so worth it :') x
I used to read for class while using the exercise bikes in college. It helped save time.
Great video, as usual :) I have actually read while working out on an exercise bike :) A great way to pass time, and make exercising a little more fun :)
I tried doing that reading and sit ups thing before... It's not very pleasant
I have a copy of Deltora Quest 1, all eight books, in on big book. I have read it so much and loved it so much that the back cover and spine fell off. It sits in my bookcase and nobody is allowed to touch it.
novel and whenever I read a synopsis for a book it is like "The world has ended. This 16-year-old-girl now is forced in to some medical procedure she doesn't want. But wait, this boy is going to help her escape. Romance and chaos ensue." Cliche much? /End rant. I was around the same age as Harry, too, and grew up with him and loved Snape and Dumbledore all along. *Fangirl* Oh wait, what? Where was I? Your teacher sounds really cool for reading it to you guys! Lucky! I liked when my dad read The
This is so cute omg

Me too, it was a "meh" specially at the last 60 pages
Hobbit out loud to me and made different voices for the characters :) Guess I need to read Looking for Alaska + John Green. Not going to be borrowing any of your books, lol. #ScaryLibrarianKat My mom listens to a ton of books on tape because she has a long commute in the car each day but I get SO SUCKED IN that I like almost crash all over the place! I remember I tried to listen to The Host but when it got to the good parts it was like my car had just driven in to an underwater Skrillex music
I honestly think you look prettier without makeup or at least that's how it looks. Natural Beauty
I split hot chocolate all over my friends book once when she lent it to me. I bought her a new copy, but now I have a hot chocolate destroyed copy of Boundless sitting around my bedroom.
There is a dollar in the going bovine book ! Lol
Have you seen the trailer for the giver?
I didn't like The Giver. A certain scene seriously messed me up and left me sick. I think it would have been different if I had read it when I was younger rather than 30 plus and a mother.
You have cool teachers that read aloud to you, wtf? *Buried under Kat's MANY recommendations for books, tv shows, J-dramas* TT___TT 5 minute commute is pretty sweet - mine is 45 minutes on a good day :( I like listening to This American Life while I clean/put on makeup. Not a book, but you know what I mean. I am very good at multi-tasking/half-listening but absorbing every detail and being emotionally evolved in everything I do. Good and bad.
I got The Book Thief from a garage sale for 50 cents.
I'm glad I got it.
Looking for Alaska is amazing!
I'm assuming you're not wearing any makeup and you look amazing! Really!!
You're so pretty in this video omfg stop
video - my arms were flailing everywhere and I was going insane. Eyes on the road! Thanks for the doing the challenge/tag. Tags are fun! What's my challenge?
You are the only other person who likes the giver. And has the same idea as me
I love The Giver why do people not like it??
Am I the only person who thinks that you look, and sound like Alyson Hannigan? :)
I lent my friend Insurgent and, um, she loved it, but when she was reading it a fly flew onto it and she snapped the book shut to kill it and I almost killed her. She scraped it off, though.
Yay books! I am actually planning on doing a blog/vlog at the end o
"What a funny question" I just
The Giver yes!!!! Me too.
I just got my Game of Thrones book back from a classmate and now the spine is all bent :/ Looking for Alaska was the first book I read for school that I really liked.
There is a dollar in that book over there
I love THE GIVER
Very inspiring :)
my friend destroyed my the fault in our stars... never again did anyone touch my books.
has anybody ever told you that you look like alyson hannigan?
I lent one of my books to a friend and she spilled coffee all over it...
I see hush hush!
My copy of An Abundance of Kathriens is stained with coffee :(
Worth
What are some good K dramas Kat?
please tell us about the books'
Ugh why am I still pressing buttons I don't mean to? Sigh. Anyways. At the end of the month I am hoping to do a blog/vlog that is a year in review of the books I've read in 2012. Maybe even make it a link up sort of thing? Idk. But do you have any suggestions of questionnaires that would work for that? Or maybe I should just write my own questions? Or maybe have people give question suggestions? What are your thoughts?
See, I made the mistake of lending a book to a friend and when I got it back it was completely ruined. He says that his pitbull sat on it, but it's just not possible. the cover and the spine where bent all to hell, I don't get how a dog sitting on it once could do that to it (Unless it's a big freaking dog).
Know that I think about it, I haven't really talked to him since he ruined my book. Interesting...
Don't hate me, but I didn't really enjoy Looking for Alaska. It didn't do much for me. I don't know why but it just wasn't my favorite.
I never read harry potter before
than I need to borrow a book from you so that I can meet you! Becous your amazing! I love you :)))))))))))))))))
What is her from?? Can anybody tell me
I think that she is from either Canada or the USA (judging by her accent)
+Lily R she's from South Carolina. 99% sure
