I saw this years ago and liked it. It's hard to have new take on aliens so they just focused on doing it well and being a bit disturbing. I felt that the military took realistic actions and it even had a good message at the end.
"Leaving 3 men and 3 women alive was enough to repopulate the planet within a century" yeah but the entire planet would also turn into alabama due to intense inbreeding. 6 people is definitely not enough genetic diversity to ensure survival past 2 or 3 generations. Guess these aliens weren't so smart after all XD

I think it was in Russian, which I don't speak, but I often watch foreign language shows, and I'm usually able to understand the stories, in spite of the language difference. I like the challenge of doing this, and it's good exercise for my brain. I've watched shows from around a dozen different countries.
