Basically Elphaba (the green girl) is in love with Glinda (blonde girl) but Glinda likes Fiyero (the dude)..
In Act 2, Fiyero and Elphaba become a pair but i see it as a one time affair that made them develop feelings
One day, Elphaba (she is the wicked witch of the West btw even tho she's not wicked cuz the wizard is a fucking fraud and is basically racist) is caught and the wizard's guards take her but Fiyero jumps in to save her.. But in the process, Fiyero is hung on a pole and beat to death with whips
Elphaba uses magic to to save him and he turns into the Scarecrow from the OG wizard of Oz
