What kind of wood do you use for heating mostly, and where do you get it from? I'm just curious, also , how do you fill those water tanks by the house....do you have a well or spring? We have a drilled well, 150ft deep....i don't know it in meters. 🤔Nice to see you man, it's a different look than most of your videos your sweating in your shop from the heat😎😥 you got a winter beard and everything! The birds down by you sound awesome..there was a couple times in your vid I heard a cool sound. I'm jealous of your heifers, I would love a couple. I've been helping my neighbor with his haying operation this summer....ive learned a lot about farming. But I'm doing a. Stihl 360 pro build for my old boss, I've finally gathered all the parts, I also have enough to build 2 more 460s , but I don't have much time for it till winter comes, I'm getting really excited for the wood mizer, should only be a couple more weeks, but I've got to get it mill some boards and get to cranking on building a shop/shed space to work in, I'll do a video to show you how many saws I've got in the house right now....its kinds crazy....robyn, my wife, isn't really stoked on it😵😵 but I've been making steady income from it so she deals......for now....hope you and family stay warm and dry, see you on the next one✌✌🖖🖖
Hey mate!! We use pine that’s on our property, it was dead standing so nice and dry for this winter, plus I got some gum (eucalyptus - hard wood) from a friend that wanted to get rid of it. It’s a good mix. The tanks fill from the roof with rain water and then it runs through 2 carbon filters and a UV light to kill any bugs, it’s really clean beautiful water. Lol the beard is me not being bothered lol We have heaps of birds around native Fantail and Tui, Pheasant (not native), Pukeko and Rainbow Lorikeet oh and Heron. The heifers or the girls as I call them are cool and will taste nice, they are an Angus breed which have beautiful flavour, a true beef 🥩 cow. They let me pat them, one licked me all over the other day when I was adjusting the fencing lol was covered in cow slime lol I’m stoked you have heaps of work with saws! That’s what you wanted to do and I’m glad you are living it! I’m looking forward to seeing your Woodmiser to! You will be milling those trees like a boss! 2 more 460’s! Mate awesome! Will that make 3 of them for you? I only have 2, so I’ll have to get some more, cannot have you beating me lol 😂 With the addition of my 361 I now have 11 saws which makes it really hard when deciding which one to use lol I spend half my time just picking a saw lol 😂 Frank is definitely my fav atm though! I’m looking forward to seeing what you do in terms of vids and hopefully I’ll put out a few shortly as well. Take it easy dude ✌️👍😎 oh and Stihl for life!
