Good show, you've done well again. As a bass player, I like all sorts of music and your choice on this video was OK by me. Don't let a criticism of the music get you down. Doesn't matter what type of music one may choose, there's always a 'purist' out there that may not agree with the choice. Often times, they might find offence only because of the volume, but not realize it's the volume they're having a problem about. This can happen in a situation like this format. You've made a video and added a soundtrack to it. The music is not too loud but can be clearly heard. It's musicians that would feel the volume level and say "The audio track is in the foreground." Ah, yes that's it, bump the volume down a notch or two and the music then goes into the background. All sorts of people can tolerate all sorts of music when it's in the background. I hope you'll find this amusing; I'm 1/4 Scot and yet I feel bagpipes are best heard from afar, as in, the other side of a football field, at least! It's much more pleasing than when the pipes are in the foreground, being strangled before my eyes and ears... This is your channel, of your vlogs, of portions of your life, on a narrowboat, on the canal system. Of course the audio is going to be of your choice, this is your channel, not theirs! Go ahead and play this music again for the Thames, if you like. Maybe the staff at the Palace needs to be woken up! Keep up, keep well and keep on, Cheers
Thanks for that and it's something I came to the conclusion of after some experimentation. The newer vids I'm keeping the music at a quieter level - also then I don't need to bother ducking it for the narration. I've never done videos before but have been involved in music previously. Learning all the time.
Such beautiful, peaceful cruising. It's too bad it was ruined by the mob of chimpanzees beating upon dustbins. Too stressful and upsetting to watch anymore.
Great video, thanks for making it!
Glad you liked it!
Another very nice video
Thanks!
I'm surprised that the CRT don't do something about the derelict boats. Great vlog, as always.
I think they struggle to keep their head above water (if you'll excuse the pun) there's so much maintenance needs doing.
Great vlog. I remember that journey well.
Where you there Will?

Anyway that isn’t music
Sorry but I had to turn the vlog off. I found the music too “frantic” for a cruise.
Will try and find some soothing tunes for when I do the Thames!
It’s his choice but I’d rather have no music

Just thought I'd try something different, learning all the time but thanks for your comment, it's good to find out what works and what doesn't!
