Michael is a very emotional performer. He brought this same emotion to Phantom of the Opera. I have seen four different people play the Phantom. He was by far the best. It's tragic his performance in the role wasn't put on film.

I've listened to many other vocalists singing this - including Marti Webb and Sarah Brightman, and no one comes close to expressing the emotion in it like Michael Crawford. Love, love, love it. Just undurpassed.
