Decoding UTM Parameters in GA4: My Process

How can you read UTM Parameters in the new GA4? To understand the best way to analyse your UTMs you need to know about the different ways to look at data inside of GA4. In this video I’ll show you these different ways and show you my process of working with UTM data in your Google Analytics.

Julian - I do find a lot of discrepancies when looking at utm to purchase attribution across different channels especially for bigger sites. Did you see the same?

not sure what kind of discrepancies your are referring to. Attribution is always something that is debatable

@@MeasureSchool - For large ecommerce websites, when we compare purchases, checkouts between GA4, other analytics platforms, Actual storefront, there is a high variation, GA4 being on lower side of it

​@@MeasureSchool Julian, we have the same situation, than the different between GA3 and GA4 data more than 10% sometimes.
It's about purchase and value metrics.
And if we chose in GA4 Last-non-direct-click attribution model(which is the same that UA), we still have this difference.
