This is insane - I've only watched 4 minutes so far and have to give props. The idea of completely decreasing the highlights and whites sliders is something I absolutely never would've considered - but its so effective for the outcome of your image!
🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you!!
I can’t thank you enough, this was so helpful and especially you going through literally EVERY little detail and even exporting the photo. Thanks. ☺️
I can't like this video enough, wow.
! Thank you
Every time i watch this video, i learn something new :)
Thank you!
@@erenjam do you use a pro mist filter I think it helps with a cinematic look as well
Holy shit. This was the most helpful youtube video I've watched in what feels like years. Going to tokyo next month and can't wait to implement all these into my photos.
this helped so much making my editing so much better, legend!
Thanks Steven
I do video work but these tips are incredible. Never would of thought to decrease highlights all the way. Preciate the hard work!
Mate, pushing in the Aquas in the midtonws is just awesome
🔥
This tutorial was super helpful! I really appreciate you using one of your good shots. I always see these videos on youtube and the person uses some crummy shot that doesnt even really reflect their style or just doesnt look interesting so BIG THANKS!
Much appreciated, Thanks you!
Now all we need is your talent - great vid man 😊👍😊
:D thank you!
Wow a really different approach to editing photos in Lightroom. I really like the style!

Huge thanks man! 🙏🏼
Eren teşekkürler! Büyük ilham kaynağısın benim için :)
Such a good tutorial man. LOVED IT
Thank you bro 🙌🏽
Another classic short dude. Loving your channnel. Just jumping into Fuji from canon for the colour. Big Bladerunner fan /Scorsese/vielneuve/ did a degree in cinema music now fascinated with colour. So many similarities with music theory keep on 🎹👊
Huge thanks! Gataca is another one, beautiful film. really appreciate the support 🙏🏼
Thank you for this video. Helped me learn a lot!
Big thanks Mark
Fantastic video...you make me feel like Alfred Hitchcock! Thanks for this

thank you for sharing your knowledge brother!
Thank you bro!
Very helpful ! Love this cinematic street style
Huge thanks!
Good application of adjustments to make your pics really pop. But for me, I wouldn't say "cinematic" since cinema comes in all flavors but perhaps editing to create a certain mood.
🙏🏼
My textbook tutorial!

" The Lady Of heaven" 2M views at trailer
Very good 😌, man! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Pablo!
Nice job
Thanks!
Thanks a lot Eren.. I was looking something like this..Any tips for camera setting in advance?
Thanks Kutay. I have an episode on the settings I use 🙏🏼
Brilliant - thanks very much. Can you do a similar video for video in Resolve or FCPX? Your work is has a great feel for people and place - one of the best in recent times and you get stuck in to digital and force it to resemble film in a fairly unique way. Thanks again.
in the works
Great video well explained thank you 💵☮️✌️
Thank you 🙏
really helpfull
Thank you!
Thank you so much Eren. You're too helpful🥺
Thank you! 🙏🏼 Happy to help

Welcome on board! 🙏🏼
Great tutorial!! Just want to ask why everyone saying that Lightroom isn’t good for fujifilm raw files?
Huge thanks. There's a slight issue with sharpening Fujifilm Raw files in Lightroom, it used to be a bigger problem, IMO it's not a big deal but if you are making large prints it may be wise to sharpen in PS and not LR.
Late but welcome follow up to prior cinematic pics post, Eren. Nicely done. Tips for adjustment brush and deferred second look, a plus. Were your starting images in Raw? Have you found any Fuji film sims (or your own in-cam JPG tweaks) that get you closer to the final look you prefer? Cheers!
Thank Paul, Yh all Raw. As for JPEGs I’m planning to make one about the fujifilm simulations once we allowed back into the city :D Stay safe! 🙌🏼🙏🏼
Very nice tricks bro, thanks! Just a quick question; don't you think -100 of highlights and whites cause a bit noise? -100 seems a bit radical move to me :D
Thanks bro! noise only really creeps in when pushing the exposures high, the high exposure number is tied to the highlights and whites so as long as you balance it right it shouldn't introduce too much noise.
Super helpful, thank you! Also, where did you get your film overlay that you used in the very beginning of the video?
film overlays from the net, lots of options out there
That last tip works really well for me as well i always take a break before uploading on Instagram and it helps a lot nice video bdw you got sub from me🤘🏻😉❤️
Huge thanks 🙏🏼
Hi Eren, do you think is it possible to create the same simulation directly in the XT5 or is it impossible because of the colors tuning very complex ? I have not Lightroom for the moment, regards
Working on an episode for this!
Drinking game: Drink every time you hear the word "cinematic"
😂
3,550 temp how did you do it, I don't have such a value?
you're fucking sick.!
🙌🏽🙌🏽
I purchased your presets but it’s not compatible with iPad 😢
drop me an email, it works on iPad, may need to send you the DNG files
why you use white background in lightroom?
I bought your presets, but they’re XMP and have no way of installing them.
Hi Christian, thanks for getting one my presets. Which app/program are you using, if you drop me an email or send a message though the contact form on my website I can send over step by step instructions.
how do you avoid the worm effect in fuji raw inside lightroom?
I don't reallyy suffer with this issue. You can use the enhance feature in LR which is specifically for Fujifilm, or sharpen in PS
You can do most of that in camera just by adjusting your white balance.
❤️
🙏🏼🙏🏼
where i can get this picture
Hey Malik, which one do you mean?
@@erenjam the one you use for editing
Need some lr preset
Most of the people prefer to maximize the dynamic range, but u are always minimizing it for cinematic look… What does actually do, what is the main difference? Great video, thanks…
Also, are u keeping the dynamic range setting in your came at low or high?
brings the digital file closer to film
On fujifilm I shoot on DR100
Thank you…
Instagram uses 1350 now, not 1080...just saying
that is good to know!
Why aren’t you flipping your computer around? 😁
I'll flip the MacBook in the next episode 😂
