Thank you! My phone's charging port was not working, so I replaced it. In the process, I guess I damaged the screen. I now have a tiny area of dead pixels on the fingerprint sensor. Your video will help me replace the screen later on. :)
So unlike many phones, the adhesive is only adhered to the edges of the screen instead of covering all the area. This means it's possible to remove the screen without breaking it with patience and heat right? Technically you could take the screen out, and then replace just the glass if you're determined and have the knowledge and tools, and skills? Thanks for this video :)
That's what she said .. lol . I guess it still worked fine. As it has to come up thru one of the holes sometime. And the battery still ends up on top of it . Plus him using 2 sided tape help so there was room for the ribbon for either hole he wanted to shove it thru
Looks like you should have got a new back glass replacement also. Because what's the point waterproofing the front when the back isn't anymore. Lol If you search online they do sell a plastic back cover for the Lg V60. Since the back glass always seems to easily/ break first. I don't understand the purpose of putting glass on the back. I guess it's just for looks but they could use lexan(bulletproof glass) plastic to look like glass, and it's probably cheaper than gorilla glass 5&6&victius1&2 to make and stronger then all of those. Maybe they use glass for better heat dissipation. (I don't know). All I know is that more glass means more chance one will break. Phones accidentally drop all the time, or accidentally put in pocket with keys and have to go up and down from your knees. Or get a drink spilled on them or get pushed into a pool in a pocket(with broken back glass). Or get thrown across the room angry at them after writing a blog or comment for a long time the phone turns off or you accidentally hit the back button. Losing everything you had just wrote. ( Well the last one not so much). Which is only because I have probably lost about a years worth of my life when writing on smartphones that didn't amount to anything when either of those happened. Because there is no control+Z on a computer for a phone.. That any time I want to write something I first write it on the notepad app then copy and paste it over.
you're going to need to improve the volume of your microphone. Only video I found of someone removing the front screen of the v60 but I could hardly hear anything
@@emanuelruiz7710 I'd prefer to be able hear if someone is talking on their video. It appears he has improved on that since I last watch it since I can hear him a lot better.
@@emanuelruiz7710 I am also using the phone that this video helped me repair. These phones have become unnecessarily complicated. Old phones you could peel the screen off without having to take apart the rest of the phone to do it so this video was a help a regardless
Fell off my bike at 60 and it stil worked fine just that road rash doesn't look any better on a phone this is where that mil-spec 810g comes into play even though it looks nasty it's going to still work I mean they freeze these things boil them and vibrate them harder than any human ever would drop them a bunch of times v-series are always solid phones
Thank you bro. I was extra careful when removing my back cover

The plume didn't insert thru it's hole in the chassis.😟
And no sealing in the speaker area - hello, dust on the front camera...

very unlikely.. I use to think like this. The glass it bonded to the screen all newer phones are like that.
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAY GOD BLESS YOU, you justed earned yourself a subscriber
The back glass will come off a lot easier using a heat mat. Let it sit on there for several minutes and be patient.
Thanks for the suggestion I will ask my boss 🙏
do you have a link to buy the screen?
You put flex cable of new screen in wrong hole.

Sorry for that
If you need any kind of assistance you can ask me here
great video. We can see perfectly fine what he is doing. If you need to hear what he is doing, you probably shouldn't be taking apart a phone.

So the 1st thing you do while "instructing" us how to do this procedure is to break the rear cover?! Are you serious?
