I made forever friendships this year. The connections I made were so beautiful I cried when I got home. I couldn’t believe the time I had and how bright and joyous it was that I was overcome with emotions I hadn’t felt In years. Ngl. I cried watching this.
This year was my 23 sham and I got my ticket for next year. Can't begin to tell you how much it's changed. Every year I get people ask how it was and my answer is always the same, BEST YET!! I love these Aftermovies every year! This was cool releasing it while the Tickets came on sale. You got a great clip of me at 4:09 at the DEF3 set at the Grove in the afternoon! I have been to DEF3 at all 5 of my Shambhala's :)
At 7:39/7:40 I am hugging my dear friend Matt! ( Big bird ) Matt is such a gem, he reminds me so much of my younger brother who unexpectedly passed away in August 2022. One year later, I met Matt! I literally felt such a brotherly love for him right from the first encounter and it’s like my brothers spirit lives within Matt, it is so comforting! He has become such a great friend and inspiration to me in the flow arts community! It’s so interesting to me though….I never even thought that was a thing until it happend to me. Has anyone else had this experience? Would love to hear it. Thank you shambhala for capturing this amazing moment during my first shambs experience. I can’t wait to be back on the farm one day!🫶✨ 🫶✨🧚🏻♀️💫🧿❤️🔥🌟💜🦄🌈

it was definitely better before, but it still hits late at night -- all the real dancers are there. on the plus side, all the other stages are improving -- AMP is so much better!!
They put a lot of work into giving it an update, and did their best to preserve the essence of it. I appreciate their effort, and thought that it had several aspects that i preferred to previous years. Just my opinion :)
Whaaaat? Frac 2.0 was awesome this year! The sound seemed clearer & the stage lights absolutely popped. Chromeo, Burchill, WesPlease and so many more incredible sets. They've gone up instead of out, so there's more room to dance but the stage has even more presence. And they're planning on more changes for next year, possibly something around the back 🤔 A huge effort & much appreciated 🥰🥳
The old Fractal was so good! I feel its lost its essence 100%.... Those trees backstage intertwined into it, were awesome! I feel like the DJ being so far up and back with those spikes in front, takes away from the intimacy that Fractal Forest was... It just isnt the same. Its lost its elf and fairy family vibe that is had before, for sure. Its too bad 😞 used to be my favorite stage.
Village stage has tons of dubstep it's the most beautiful stage although not my favorite music. I'm more of a house head. They have stuff for everybody. Definitely recommend
