Every so often I revisit this remix. I was 12 when I first found it in 2013, and I'm incredibly happy I did; it made a huge impact on my musical tastes, and was (and is) something I listen to when I'm feeling down or need this specific vibe. Kudos to the person (or people!) who made this remix; it's still an all-time favorite of mine, even now in 2023.
Great to hear, I feel ya on this one - I have that same relationship towards Scrape from Blue Stahli. That song has heavily influenced my taste in music towards my current one. And this one, Metamorphosis, has such a heavy nostalgia about it - I love coming back to it.
This uses the minimalism and simplicity inherent to this style of DnB, to amazing effect. I've never heard a remix that's both so good in its own right and so true to the spirit of the original. I also appreciate the more emotional and melodic approach here, as compared to the original's driving pace and intensity. A fantastic piece of music. Even as I've drifted largely away from EDM towards metal, coming back to this, it's still as good as it was on my first listen.
So many years later and this is still one of the best songs in my humble opinion, placed in my top 20 best songs ever personal playlist! That and Having BLACK GOLD SAW as the video's picture makes it better

This song is both nostalgic and unique, even today, many Years later, it's still a song I frequently listen to. It's honestly a masterpiece in my opinion. This is better than the original. But it's perfectly fine and I completely understand the people who believe the original to be better. Blue Stahli is just that band that is always amazing, no matter how old I am
