I love being European. We have so much culture and good food. You can find it in every country. I'm from the southwest of Germany and we have our own types of pasta, smoked ham, great bread and also something like a pizza called "Dünne" with sour cream and bacon. The great thing is that the best food was made by the poor people. Italy has done a great job in preserving its food culture.
Just found you and love ❤ your love of Italian Street Food. My sister and I have covered all 3 points of Sicily and jumping into Italy 🇮🇹 as well. Planning another trip for next spring. Bologna is at the top of my list, also Venice, Milan, Verona and more in between. Our grandfather Randazzo was born in Sferracavallo, Sicily. Not bad for my age. 🍷🇮🇹🍷🇮🇹🐞🐞🐞
Thanks, I saved all places in my google map. But for person who not familiar with Italian food name, it’s so difficult for me to note each of your menu. It would be nice to have text next to your menu so I can google more about it. Thanks again.
A video popped up on my RUclips feed today from 2 young Americans sharing the road in Bologna. They both looked like fashion models. Once they began eating and describing their food, I turned it off. There’s a reason why we must go to Vincenzo for Italian food info: Vincenzo knows how to cook Italian food! 👏👏
Thank you Vincenzo! I came from far to visit Bologna, and actually you were one of the people who encouraged me and my girlfriend to visit your beautiful country! 😃
We followed your video and tried some of the food. The crescentina was the biggest surprise of all. It was very simple and delicious. We ended up going there twice.

No surprise it was called " bologna la grassa" (bologna the fat). But once you reach italy, don't miss other cities. You will absolutely love the food. I promise
Bologna La Dotta, La Grassa, La Rossa. Bologna the learned one because of it's ancient university founded in 1088. Bologna the fat one because of the food. Great video! I've been to Florence a few times, and love it very, very much. But I'm beginning to think Bologna is the connoisseur's choice 😉 (And if your lover doesn't like your garlic breath, you're with the wrong lover!)

One of the things I loved about this was that so many of the street food vendors had vegetarian options. Awesome. Italian food lends itself to vegetarian options, but sometimes we are forgotten.
And bologna is one of the most "carnivore" italian cities. In southern italy you.could find a huge deal of plant based dishes. Bologna's zone is traditionally voted to pigs, they have so many extraordinary cured meat product (not only mortadella.and prosciutto), and a lot of mest based dishes (such as ragu, tortellini) even regarding pasta ones... If someone really loves plant based dishes definitely should try southern italy recipes... Or liguria ones.
I lived and worked in Italy for several years, after earning a degree in Italian language & literature, and stopped eating meat during that time, due to all the lovely vegetable dishes! It was over 35 years ago, and I still don’t eat meat 😊
Every city has its gems. You can find tortellini and piadina almost anywhere, but they will never be as the "original" ones. Roma and firenze have wonderful local dishes, enjoy them and then reach bologna (is pretty fast from firenze) and enjoy different things.
