I truly appreciate you not promoting these "luxury products." How people spend their money is none of my business, but I'm not going to spend excessive amounts of money on skincare when I can get great products for a fraction of the price.
Thank you!! I always want to make sure people know that spending a lot of money on skin care is ONLY for the luxury name, you can get the same results with affordable products :)
I looooove your reaction videos! I appreciate how kind you are to the person in the video while being so informative for your audience 🫶🏼 Sending love to you Hyram
"I have a problem & I'm addicted to skincare."I've never related to a statement as much as this.Bliss used to be a higher end brand and is a spa so that is why a lot of their products are great.
I don't really care so much if they got them as gifts, because they are typically so rich, it's not like it means more if they spent their own money. I mean, if you think about it, a $70 eye cream is basically free for Ariana Grande, even if she bought it with her own money. Also, celebrities get SO MUCH free skincare and makeup. Even when they have a holy grail product that they've been using for years, that company will give them stuff for free just because they are celebrities. So if they are always saying that they got a product for free, that wouldn't really be fair either, because when you hear that someone got a product for free you instantly question whether or not the product is any good. Now, what I DO care about, is if they are paid a check to promote a product, and they don't disclose that they are a spokesperson. I watched a reaction by Dr Idriss to a celebrity skincare routine not too long ago that got me fired up. I forget who the celebrity was, but she was really pushing like three or four products from a line. Eventually Dr. Idriss started to feel like it was a little sus, so she went to the website for the product line, end it was literally a picture of her face. Nowhere in the routine video did she ever disclose that she is "the face of" that skin care line, so it felt really manipulative.
I agree with your point. I suppose the reason i would be curious to know is because then i understand if they are using a product because it ended up infront of them by accident (gifted) or because they seeked it out specifically.
I grew up in the 70s when everyone was putting tanning oil on and laying in the sun. I hated the sun because i hated the heat. I would use spf and even on my face sometimes. I started using Olay moisturizer the pink one and i used that for years. My skin is not bad for me being in my 60s. I started curology 7 years ago.
I used to consistently carry up to 10 lip products in my bag at all times 😂 for whatever mood I was in, or whatever my lips needed Now I’ve narrowed it down to my favorites
The bliss toner is nice. my experience, it did burn my skin but i do have somewhat sensitive skin. So be careful if you have sensitive skin cause mine didnt like it😢.
Hyram - all of Clinique skin care And makeup are 100% Fragrance Free. I think people forget about them because they're non hip or poppin' off on Tiktok- but don't be sleeping on her! As an elder millennial- she was my intro to skincare :) Have you never tried Moisture Surge? (you must try!) xxx
i would love to see a video about le sserafim's sakura's skincare routine. the products that she uses look pretty interesting. i am very curious about the way she applies her toner. great video as always btw!!
I’m so glad you brought up how those with darker skin are told we don’t need sunscreen lol my mom still looks at me crazy for wearing it & I’ve def been told a lot that we don’t need it.
Hyram seems to be a bit behind the curve, retinol during the day is a no because it degrades very fast when exposed to daylight, has nothing to do with photosensitivity.
I don't apply products with that finger. I know you are supposed to, but I usually just rub my products on with all my fingers very gently like I would the rest of my face. I don't know, I've just always done it that way. I don't use any eye creams. I have my exfoliant and my moisturizer and my sunscreen.
You should react to Niall Horan’s skincare routine. Also thank you so much, you’ve taught me everything I know about skincare. My job is now based around helping people with their own skincare routines.
Hanalei lip balm - amazing & one you should try. I really like Clinique products, tho, esp. their Redness Solutions moisturizer, & if you buy on sale, very reasonable, & accessible 👍
She has a good regime. How lucky can she be? Wish my skin wasn't temperamental. I have very sensitive skin. As for lanolin, I can't use it because I'm allergic as so was my maternal grandfather. I always triple check the ingredients to avoid lanolin. The best skincare is to use sunscreen. I always have since I was 12. I'm 54 and told I'm my elder sister's(3 years older) daughter and my 23 year old niece's sister. I've always been told I'm younger than I am. I put this down to religious use of broad spectrum sunscreen 30 to 50 plus. ❤
Retinol in the morning is actually fine. It increases overall skin sensitivity, but it’s a myth that it makes your skin more “thin”. Besides, it increases overall skin sensitivity so it doesn’t matter if you only use it at night, you still need a sunscreen. If you wanna fact check, there are plenty of actual dermis that say this is fine and even that you might get more out of it. JUST WEAR SUNSCREEN THATS LITERALLY IT. thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Love Hyram though
I like Bliss serum. Not the most amazing serum in the world, but it's affordable and good in the summer when it's super humid. I am sorry you don't like toners. I use 3 layers of toner b/c I find it hydrates my skin better than a thick layer of moisturizer. I am not a fan of ELF but the one thing of two things from ELF I do like is their toner (the other one being their liquid blush, of which you need half a dot and that ends up too much) To each his/her own I guess. I also like First Aid Beauty toner but that's 3X the price. The Laneige is good too, but not as good as I expected. Can you mention other LED products? Thanks. Also, I bought Colorscience eye cream for my mom for mother's day. Worst eye cream ever. Not only did it not work, the dispenser broke after one use. I still like my La Roche Posey eye cream best of all.
She looks good with hair like that, totally should wear it when going out. I have a wide square chin and look like cr@p w center part. Definitely need a side part.
hi hyram! I am 12 years old with a few enlarged pores and many closed comedones/whiteheads. everybody is telling me to use retinol online but I have no idea if I should because it seems like its going to damage my skin. plz reccomend me some products that are less than $30! thx so much!
I got patch tested and I’m allergic to lanolin and it’s in eucerin products and I broke out like a mf before I got to the bottom of my allergy which the derm told me to use it and led me to break out hense the patch test. I’m also allergic to camomile extract and AHA BUA PHA lactic & salicylic acid which is in a lot of shampoos 😂 it’s a bitch with skin allergies lol
Cheaper led masks are not as good as this or the Current Body or OmniLux one. It's the quality of the lights. Omnilux provides the lights for the Current Body and Dr Gross, and they're a clinical grade.
Dude, if you havent already and are able you gotta check out smartly, the prices are insanely cheap for the quality... Talking like under 5 bucks. I'm only able to find their shave foam right now but I've heard great things about their skincare.
Now I appreciate you mentioned that she made real videos without autotune. I heard it too, for years now. And yes, that you made it prominent that she had to work for her career. ☝️ Here is the thing from my experience: I’m not a celebrity, not even a woman. But: if I have the money for let’s say products given food? Who cares? I made more money she did at that point of this video… why not?
I hate cocky people. I mean yes she is doing a good job glad shes wearing sunscreen but like you said she isnt ms perfect. Glad you proved that lol despite that she is pretty and loved your intake on it. I am definitely a katnis fan. No hate here though.

I think the celebrities should disclose if they got gifted expensive skincare products during these type of videos.
I don't really care so much if they got them as gifts, because they are typically so rich, it's not like it means more if they spent their own money. I mean, if you think about it, a $70 eye cream is basically free for Ariana Grande, even if she bought it with her own money.

The bliss toner is nice. my experience, it did burn my skin but i do have somewhat sensitive skin. So be careful if you have sensitive skin cause mine didnt like it😢.
Oh no, good to know!! It is a more "active" toner than say a hydrating toner so that can happen. Thank you for the warning!

I’ve never heard of her until this video but I think she’s adorable fr her journey is so inspiring
the way hyram yells at us to not touch our face and eyes, and the very end is him rubbing his eyes😭at least it was the right fingers

Our ringfingers do NOT "have the least amount of muscles in the fingers". Anatomy exited the chat. 🥴💀

Byram you're so positive we need more people like you in this world🤗
Isn't it true that people with oily skin tend to be less prone to getting wrinkles as they age though? So that's a perk.:)

Well well well you are so smart.

Can we just normalize having oily skin on camera or film. I’m oily and I just embrace it.
Not sure if retinol should be in “every single” skincare routine…although I’m starting to suspect where all those Sephora kids got that idea….
