Very unique and interesting artist. I love the feminist touch in his work, and I admire the connection that he had enabled between his work and that of the Light and Space artists, Pop artists, the Minimalists, and the wordworks of Barbara Kruger... 😀

Wow. Must have been hard growing up within the segregation of Huddersfield and still end up as an artist.

Very inspiring words from a violent thug.

      Why do you say that?

@@steve40469 I'm assuming this is sarcasm, like people labeled him a thug, and he rejected that label and proved them wrong (the first part he addresses this). Not sure though, she should be more clear, but how many racists are really watching Tate shorts? I think this is Poe's law, I would need to see Keri Morgan say these words to completely get the inflections necessary to understand the sarcasm, irony, satire, or wry wit. But yeah, sarcasm. Some people see him only as a young black man - a thug - in their minds, even though he is talented, articulate, thoughtful, successful, inspiring, etc.
