Freedom in #improvised music is something that fascinates bass guitarist
Stef Joosten. The fact that something can #arise at the moment keeps
music fresh and #exciting. Joosten first developed within the Jazz Academy
in Den Bosch and later at the #Conservatory of Amsterdam. Earlier this year
he received a carte blanche from #jazz stage Paradox in Tilburg and presented
#Tisoi ("The Independence Shape Of Imagination"). This gave Joosten the
opportunity to play his own #compositions and meet inspiring musicians
of his generation. As the title of the #project suggests, it is about the many
forms that #music can take. Including Ivo Neame (Phronesis, Marisus Neset Quintet)
on piano, Mete Erker on Tenorsax, Robin van Rhijn - Drums and Kika Sprangers
on the saxophone.
