Another excellent video, Geenyada. I felt bad seeing the sectarian comments after your Qom shrine video, but I know you are above all these things. Best wishes for the rest of your trip.
Excellent. It was fascinating. I hope your trip to Yazd has a second part. I am so awaiting to see the architecture in such an ancient city which registered with unesco. I love to know how the wouthering heights (wind catchers) system built an works. I was reading that Yazd is most famous for its sweet and confectionery as well as special silk woven material for clothing which has a long ancient history and importance behind. I hope you will show us those the most important phenomena there.
2:10 actually , if you look at takhtejamshid (تخت جمشید) which is in Shiraz you'll notice an ancient water system , Iran had the first water pipes , A type of water pipe that is made with stones in a way to move the water to the Houses .
Thank you for showing the real side of my country: its culture, people, and its energy. By the way, are you going to the north of Iran as well? I recommend visiting many places up there, it’s full of greenery, forests, and hills. Loving your videos!
Iranians don't separate people based on their color. We have African Iranians who have been living in southern ports of Iran like Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, and many others that Iranians call Southern People (who are constituted of African-Iranians and Iranians by race). It is interesting that nobody even asks themselves where these people are coming from. I was a student in the University of Tehran and it never came to my mind why there are so many shades among Iranian people, some fair skin, some dark, and some black. To me, all Iranians are the same and I did not learn about the dual ethnicities until I visited the U.S. I heard these combinations as African-American, Iranian-American, German-American, ....., etc. If somebody's ancestor came to Iran 1000, 500, or even 100 years ago and was assimilated into society and created a new mixed, beautiful culture, who cares where they are from? They are new Iranians! It is interesting to know this if somebody is interested in the cultural influence of different ethnicities, or perhaps Bandari (Southern) music, which is influenced by African music and African drums. I like it that most Iranians are ignorant about their compatriots' original ethnicities because this reduces the chance of separating people based on their ancestors and makes Iranians' bonds stronger regardless of their color and race.
I have been following you from the beginning beautiful sister and i always loved all your adventure's through the world 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️ but to be honest this trip to the beautiful amazing and in the same time misunderstood country (Iran) is so far my favorite of them All ❤️❤️ thank you again and keep your fantastic journey for us all ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾👍🏾👍🏾🇧🇻♥️
Welcome to Iran sister Come to Kurdistan and visit here you will see historical mountains and the most ancient Iranian People in Oraman After being in a warm deserts of Iran you can try cold weather in Kurdish culture
I lived in Los Angeles California for sometimes where I met many Persians some believed in Zoroastrianism. It’s kind of similar to ancient Monotheistic Somali religion of Waaqism that believe in Benevolent deity. Very interesting. Btw their cuisine is one of my favorite. Ali is very educated quite impressive 👍🏽
Parisian have rich history full of science that was used in slam where many knowledge scientists of Islam came from ones the amazing messenger peace upon him brought the religion to them, that is why many amazing knowledge Islamic came from.Although,Arabs claimed the knowledge came from where all they were backward.
This was the fastest way to get recycled back into nature and also perform one last act of charity by giving one's body as sustenance to other creatures. It also prevented 'polluting' the earth with contaminants, according to ancient Iranian beliefs. They also held similar views about polluting the other primal elements, namely air, water and fire.
Hope you’ll pay visits to Zoroastrian Fire Temples inside the city of Yazd. Zoroastrianism (in Arabic “Majoos” and in Latin “Magis”) was the ancient religion of all Iranians including even Iranian Christians such as Armenians. Only Iranian Jews weren’t Zoroastrian. Yazd and Esfahan and Shiraz also have very sight worthy Jewish synagogues and holy places, namely mama-Sarah and Gol-Bahar synagogue in Esfahan, Esther & Mordechai in Hamedan and Shush of Daniel which is the tomb of Prophet Daniel in Susa (Shush).
Yes, there are many synagogues in Iran. The Jewish community is a founding member of our Iranian family. They have been there since day one. We love them and I hope they grow proud and strong again along with the rest of Iran, once Islamic regime is gone.
Perhaps you mean Monotheistic Religion, Monolitich is not used for religion. I hope you don't mind that I corrected your sentence, my intention is just to better communication. Most of us have to write in English, which is not our mother tongue, but it is a good means to communicate. Many scientists believe that Zoroastrianism actually influenced Abrahamic religions such as (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), maybe because those are all sent by the same god. In any case, Iranians were among the first who believed in one God but not exactly in the same way as the Abrahamic religions believe. Zoroastrians believe in a dichotomy of Good vs Bad, AhuraMazda (the one God) is the source of light and everything good and Ahriman (Ahreeman) is like Satan, whereas in Isalm, Shaytan (Satan) is one of Allah's angels who disobey Allah to bend to the man. Satan is not a peer of Allah but under Allah. In Zoroastrian Ahriman (Satan) is a lesser power to God (Ahuramazda) who acts independently and in rivalry with God.

Ali your guide wasn't really informative regarding the Zoroastrian religion. A few points: 1. Their prophet is also mentioned in Quran as a prophet of God. His religion was the base of many parts of Islam. Due to an Iranian Zoroastrian joining Mohammed after he became a prophet. 2. They are one of the most beautiful and kindest people you can meet in Iran. Their religion is so peaceful and intelligent that was one of the main reasons that the historical Iran was so prosperous. 3. They have one main rule that has three parts, Goftar Nik (Speaking righteous so no lies or bad words), Kerdar Nik (Only do things that are righteous and good), Pendar Nik (Only think about righteous and good things.) Read about them and see how beautiful Iran was before the invasion of Arabs.

Shia women also cover their hair, what you see in these videos is due to mandatory Hejab in Iran. Many of those that you see did not fully cover their hair might not be religious or might not believe in traditional Hejab, but they have to wear these covers to reduce the chance of being fined by authorities. Those who believe in traditional Shia Islam, they fully cover their hair and some are so strict that wear a head-to-toe drape called Chador. Iran and Afghanistan are currently the only Muslim countries in which wearing a Hejab is mandatory, and many Iranians, especially from the younger generation, don't like to obey these rules and keep pushing the Hejab boundary back. Some even refuse to wear Hejab now and are ready to pay the price. Recently, a few Shia Jurists released Fatwa (religious Edicts) that wearing Hejab in Islam is not mandatory and the form of traditional Hejab is not suited for the modern era and interpreted Hejab as upholding modesty rather than covering hair. This is a new wave and is not accepted by the majority of religious communities in Iran.
