I do believe being authentic and honest with others and asserting ourselves helps with recovery from TMS. As we become closer to our truer selves we become more open and aligned. Thanks for another video 🙏🙏
I think the WHOLE experience of this is designed exactly for that. Nothing else makes sense in regards to suffering long term imo
This was so interesting! I have mouth issues and at times speech has been laboured and really difficult. I’ve gone through all the food stories and am partly still in that - not out the other side yet. But loved Ashan’s story. What he said about confidence and speaking up really struck a chord - I was bullied at age 13 and speaking up has always been a challenge. Ashan has shown me that perhaps this is what I need to do - reclaim my voice and find that inner confidence. Fear of judgement and criticism I’m sure is at the root cause of the issues I’m facing.
Wow, this video was so helpful to me, I have a vocal condition too, and just the advice to shift to paying attention to my mindset rather than my symptoms has been a game changer. Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight 🙏
Not enough words to describe how wonderful this dialogue was. Ashan, you are amazing, strong, confident and brilliant. Dan, your coaching is phenomenal - such beauty and wisdom - what a gift. I was crying, smiling, and full of gratitude for this amazing conversation. Thank you so much ❤
So beautifully expressed Nicole ! I felt the same. Let’s all become as strong and brave as this young man !❤️
Ashan….. you are my hero….very grateful to witness your powerful recovery,,,!
You have words of wisdom..very inspiring .👏🏼🤩
My first thought was, pff this doesn’t apply to me!
Boy was I wrong !
It was the most interesting successtory I have ever listened too!
So many unexpected insights and parallels, mind- blowing !
Thanks for speaking to us with all your vulnerabilities and how amazing it has to be to have a dad like you !
Congrats 🎉🍾 !
Thanks for sharing your incredible story ❤
And thanks Dan for the amazing coaching as well !❤
I AGREE AT FIRST I WONDERED HOW IT RELATES TO TMS BUT IT'S THE BASIS OF TMS
Stuttering is a TMS equivalent of course! I believe that Journaling would help...for me, getting those emotions out on paper is a tremendous Release and relief
Amazing coaching, Dan! As a life long stutterer this conversation is just what I needed to hear. Also TMS equivalent. 35 years of back issues gone but now dealing with flareups of psoriasis ......Safety and power. Ashan, thank you for being here, you are Amazing!
Thanks for telling your story with so much clarity and insight. Congratulations on your new baby, you will be a compassionate and enabling parent with so much knowledge. The ability to communicate clearly is so much part of the TMS/PDP journey for many folks, for me I have had difficulty in expressing myself clearly to close family members. I am aware of it now and thats the key for me in my TMS/PDP journey. I have learnt much from your discussion. Best wishes to you and thanks Dan for providing this platform for exploring issues in TMS/PDP.
The entire time I’ve had TMS (this year) I’ve been shocked how it has hurt my communication because I would feel like I couldn’t quite talk right when I had pain hit when talking to people. I’ve always been a strong communicator and it’s been the craziest thing to not feel confident talking with people. I could talk fine with my wife or parents, but at work or certain others I would get pain and couldn’t feel like myself.
Such a great and relevant interview - so very helpful and much appreciated. I feel I’d like to listen again!!
wow! the best interview I've heard. Thank you Ashan & Dan
that was such a wonderful interview. thank you both so much.
TMS if you are focusing on the stammering then you don't have to face what is really bothering you. This has been an eye opener. With two brothers that have experienced this throughout life, this would be a game changer for them. But will they accept it??
can you tell me in which clinic this guy was treated by TMS?
I am not aware of the clinic.
Hi Dan. How can we recover from addiction and at the same time recover from TMS?
❤❤❤
