The Greaseman on "Mixed Nuts" in 1994

"Mixed Nuts" was a college sketch/variety TV show which ran on GSTV (Georgia State Television) from 1993 to 1996. The sketches were written and produced by John D. Babcock III and Joe Kelly - two Atlanta area comedy writers and performers. In the Fall of 1994, The Grease was doing his World Tour (going to different cities to do his radio show live). He came to Atlanta for a week and did his show live at Z-93. When I learned he was coming, I asked GSTV’s Program Director to reach out to Z-93 to ask if we could get an interview with The Greaseman. Long story short, we got to interview him AND record the live show. It was a lot of fun. Grease and his team were very professional and worked together very well.
