EXCELLENT visit to this community. I remember visiting this community about 30 years ago.Glad to see it is being look after. Would have been nice to see a Canadian National Railway caboose rather than the CP Rail caboose. Also, a grain car at the elevator.
I really enjoy these videos . The country side there looks a lot like places where I live or within a few hours here in Australia. I always thought your country was completely Forrest’s and not dryer areas like that . Cool videos
Glad your back Chris' And many thanks for this tour as its a wonderful photographic place on earth... Really enjoyed this video...Best wishes from the u. k... Take Care... 😊
I visited Rowley back in the summer of 1992, when it was still a happening place. I rode the Alberta Prairie steam train from Stettler to Rowley and return. In Rowley, I had a Drummond Draft beer for $2 at the bar and a 5¢ ice cream cone at the store. The grain elevator was still in use at the time, as well, with the steam engine even switching out a hopper car!
Rowley is an interesting little Ghost Town, fun to explore and imagine.
I am thrilled the locals preserved it!
