It can't be overstated how special music is in games. I really enjoy getting to follow along with the tracks in this video while learning a bit more about each of you! Of these titles, I'm afraid I've played but Tropical Freeze. I didn't get any of them down to when they appear, but I could feel the vibes. Like, yes, this is a Mega Man song, or this is definitely DKC, but which one? While I haven't played Bravely Default or Dynasty Warriors, I have played Octopath Traveler and Hyrule/One Piece Pirate Warriors; they bear the same instrumentation, respectively. Recognizable. I like what Ajan Mallari asked elsewhere about the challenge board possibly resetting for the new year! Previous boards can be archived for future reference, but a new board may help in situations where one person is dominating. If you enjoy these music type challenges, I think it would be fun to collaborate with Good Vibes Gaming on their "What's That Track?" series, the team of which Roger's editor Brandon is a part.
I think it is impressive to identify the platform just based on the game melody and not knowing anything else about the game. It’s like you can tell when the music upgraded into a newer system. I enjoy this game. Can’t wait to see the next one. Btw will the challenge board reset at the start of the new year?
Love any sort of VGM based trivia challenge! I got all the ones from games I played (Mario World, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Mega Man 2, Final Fantasy IV, Sayonara Wild Hearts, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze) and none from those I haven't played. I couldn't even identify the Rhythm Heaven one cause I only played the Wii one and that one truly sounded like a credits song for a game. Thanks for all the great music recs from this though, that Dynasty Warriors 3 theme was awesome!
Games are a little obscure for some of them, undertale, hollow knight, celeste, hades, mario, yoshis island, kirby, donkey kong all have pretty iconic music.

As a huge fan of video game music, I absolutely LOVED this. I hope you'll do more in the future! As far a Rhythm Heaven songs go, my favorite was from Rhythm Heaven Fever: "Remix 8: I Love You, My One and Only (English version)". It's SO good!
I'm here to say, Sticker Star - it's not bad. I'll give you "flawed." The reliance on "things" or whatever for boss battles was a real downer. The final boss is a power trip, though. That was a blast. Color Splash and Origami King are masterpieces in comedic writing and world-building.

Donkey Kong Country has amazing music, but that one was clearly not from Super Nintendo based on quality of the music. I love Super Nintendo music but it has a distinctive retro style. That being said i would have guessed Donkey Kong Country returns
