Did this bring back memory's,!! I once many years ago paid $7500 for a cock bird in australia, These birds were a class act, they reminded of the birds I used to have , so glad I wasn't there !! . And at the same time sad because I have tears in my eyes, the memory's come back, the wonderful times I had, the people you meet and that "Beautiful bird weighting less than a Kilo will do anything to get home to you" It has no idea if your Black White Blind Crippled how much money you have or not it just wants to come home to you in all weathers. Thank You. You done a great Job.
Thanks for sharing. You are absolutely right ✅
Yes. I remember going to pigeon auctions in Sydney Australia in the 60s with my father and could not afford the top bid of $100. How times have changed. Out of the sport and miss it sadly
A lot of quality racing pigeons in here. It was crowded, I would have like you go one by one and show each pigeons for 10 second. They way they look is just outstanding.
There were 100+ birds. With the crowd not sure how the bidders would have liked me taking up their viewing time. Lighting indoor wasn't the greatest either. In the future I'll consider trying it though.
Really appreciate your feedback. Always trying to make this channel better! Thank you 😊
@@NE_Pigeons yeah, if it wasn't too crowded, I would have like to see 10 second of each racing pigeons. Each pigeons, the way they look, tells a story.
Great video buddy! And congratulations on your 2K subs milestone!
Thank you so much 😀 🕊 🕊 🕊
Some beautiful quality birds right there . Those white Flights and BB Splashes were nice . Wish I was still racing I would have been there
Thanks for watching and the comment 🕊
Another great video, i wish some of the birds on the online auction would go for only $550 lol

Nice video, that's the kind of event that separates the men from the boys and feather merchants. Great turn out.
Absolutely! Great way to put it.
I know Rober Venus very well , i used to work at Venus loft and the supercrack Grusson was one of the best flyers and breeders Robert has ever had .He said one day to me ;There a lot of good racing pigeons but many of them are not good breeders exept for the Supercrack because he was a superbreeder .When Jack Grusson bought the pigeon he though it was a female because it was a little pigeon .An other interesting fact is that the two birds Jack bought were leftovers no one wanted because they were late breds .
Thank you for thy extra knowledge! Really appreciate it 🙂
Planet brothers Van loons Janssen / Van loons and Aliens were super pigeons and those pigeons in the auction look typical of Planet pigeons .

Thank you for the comment.
It is very difficult to find purer Janssen pigeons now, this may be a "treasure"
Yes I agree.
Thanks for sharing, since Tom passed away I’m wondering were pedigrees made for the auction birds, what kind of details were in the auction list?
Thanks for watching and for the comments. Yes, every bird had something behind it. All had some sort of pedigree in the pamphlet. This gave the bidders an idea of every bird's potential.
When is the next auction?
Well there is ana auction Every Sunday in Long island, NY in West Babylon at Pigeon and Bird Supply of Long Island. At this auction you'll come accross a little bit of everything from all sorts of fancy breeds to racing Homers. Where to buy racing pigeon how much?
That really depends on quality. You can find Homers at auctions for as low as $10 each. On the other end pedigree birds can cost hundreds to millions.
