I started F7 when I got my Term and after I hypermaxed it bc I hated to be called a juju non and it rly worth it how U said rly sad that juju won't swap arch bc I get 10x their dps

maybe once i get to cata 40+, i'll experiment with joining f7 parties as sceptre mage, even though i alr got a hype
i was alr able to do f7 pretty well with just a sceptre as cata 29 anyways, just didn't run it because of the finder thingy, just decided to play tank since it's extremly easy to find parties
reaper mask and mender crown are kinda useless on f7 for tank tbh, when i play tank, 99% of the time i either wear slime hat for luring purposes with soul whip (which alr gives a lot of healing when attacking mobs thanks to syphon and 100cc/1000cd), then using bonzo mask in p3 or literally swapping to mage mid-run because tank isn't that necessary past p3, it only helps with reducing lava damage, also if you decide to go with tank, spirit sceptre is definitely enough for clear tbh, ofc minibosses will be a little bit painful, but it's still much better to kill stuff, maybe even better than hype for those weaker mobs
but speaking of non-class specific items, i'd recommend getting an eff9 pickaxe with young drag and silverfish for fast cheesing bomb defuse, bonzo staff and jerrychine gun for mobility in the bossfight, gloomlock grimoire for healing (seriously, it can be better than scylla), wither cloak for surviving storm and running past goldor, bonzo mask and slime hat especially for p3 (if you're doing the 1st and 4th device without slime hat, you can get knocked and basically you're throwing), even an artisanal shortbow for puzzles and 4th device, spirit leaps, conjuring/infinityboom for gates and secrets and rabbit hat for trap room

What cata level should you be to do f7/ and is it required for you to have gyro wand or ice spray wand and all of the helpful items or just the weapon you using pet and gear?

Just use previous gear, although it will be harder, just maybe try to overlevel your catacombs level to compensate, sorry about my guides not being very ironman friendly

necron armor isnt needed for its dmg reduction, i can solo f7 in hardened diamond.
also 3/4 storm should be the only choice for mage, speed equipment and tunings get you 400 easily.

What cata level are you because most people can definitely not solo it in necron lol.
Also I agree about the tunings part and equipment, speed by MP is quite accessible but ig maxor can help with speed

I would say cata 24 is quite low even with max gear, you might struggle, cuz necron is also probably better for F7 cuz of damage reduction from withers

Mask > mender because cheaper (no master stars in mm, not necessarily in f7), more ehp, and both regen to full with a single grimoire right click

Reaper mask is still better, as grimoire heals you back to full with both (considering you already have some base vitality).
It has more ehp, and is cheaper on master mode (no master stars needed)

@notSwiftie but here's the big picture that you've replied with for master mode on a floor 7 gear guide, did anywhere there did I say master mode? Your point counts for master mode but most people who play floor 7 are eman 5 not eman 6 for grimore

@@maxdragonis1304 Grimoire is eman 5. If you play floor 7 without eman 5 (aka Juju), something is wrong - even if you aren't archer you still need juju for secret routes. That besides, there aren't many times where you need burst healing over instant ehp as most healing happens second by second. This means you get nuked easily, no matter which floor you are on (especially if you use goldor).
I storm tank f7 because I can't be bothered and I switch to mender crown for healing as i don't get nuked, rather maxor does consistent dps. For the majority of players, reaper mask would be less effort and more effect.
And yes, most if not all master mode strats should apply to floor 7. People do all sorts of sweaty stuff on both floors (I'm sure you do too).
