It wasn't tedious Bob! You moved along really well, and all the info you provided was clear, understandable, and concise! You really did a great Bluetti round-up, just what I'd have asked for! Now I don't have to ask, you've already done it! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! Have a great week! 🤗💖 Cody!
Thank you for the heads up on the prime day deals. As a prime member I picked up that little Bluetti Looks fantastic. Just what I need for my off grid motorcycle camping.
For me, the most important thing that it can run is a car refrigerator. Even in AZ summer. Yes, that small one can do it especially if you add some solar. So you have to buy the power station ($200), solar ($150) and the fridge ($150-$250). Now you have a great system to run 'everything' that pulls low watts (laptop, LED lights, phone charge, ect.) and your fridge can run 24/7 keeping food (even milk or cheese) without needing ICE. That, to me, is the greatest advantage of these setups. I wonder if it will be able to push an electric blanket come Fall/Winter? The experiment continues ................................
I'm running my household chest freezer in my conversion on the EB3A for about 3 hours while traveling. Works just fine and recharges in an hour on 120 volts.
I just ordered the small one. Getting van ready. I was nervous about ordering it. I know nothing ab😢out them. Everything I hear is buy the Jackery. But they are so high. So I hope I did right I went by the gentleman that said the little one run his freezer for three hours.
I have a Bluetti AC200P, an EB3A and a PV350 solar panel. All work perfectly. Bluetti customer service responds in a day or two and has always been helpful.
Ac200 max 30amp plug sucks about 55 watts per hour for the converter. I bought it for that purpose, but immediately realized if I wasn't in the middle of the desert, it was unsustainable. I now have it hooked to the outside solar port of the trailer. I am able to connect through the trailer battery, to the 12v system of the trailer. That, with a 2500w duel fuel Champion, has seen us through one of the rainiest spring/summers in Alaska.
I still appreciate that you are looking out for the people that just want simplicity and ease of setup bob, but i wish you would review some of these cheap lithium 12v chinese batteries like the chins, or ampere time! Are they really worth the price? Possibly way cheaper than one of these units, if you're in a simple van with absolutely no 110 v appliances which these days is totally possible! 12v blender, those little 12v cig lighter food warmers (ill admit i need to buy one to see how effective they are) and a 12v fridge. Totally possible to avoid having anything 110v powered in your van these days!
I'm so grateful to you for posting these types of videos. I try to understand it all, but confess my eyes tend to glaze over, lol.I'm wanting to buy a 12volt fridge for my van and I'm trying to figure out which of these will support it, and I'd be lost without you! Happy trails!!🥰
Hey Michelle, If it’s a 12v fridge any of them will technically run it. The big question is for how long. 12v appliances are made to run on a 12v car plug which is usually around 150w maximum. Refrigerators are interesting because they continuously run on and off so you don’t really end up using too much power. I would base my purchase on the size of your refrigerator. I would also base it on wether or not you will be charging the battery during the day. If all you are running is a 12v refrigerator and you are charging your battery during the day you should be fine with one of the small batteries. If you are going to be charging the battery at home and then going off-grid you would want something larger so you can run the 12v fridge for a couple of days. Hope that was helpful and did not make it more difficult for you.
Great value, along with easy to understand power and which one to order for my personal needs. Plus how to expand now or in future. Thanks again Bob for informative power video. You're always taking the fear out of making an informed decision in van life or cheap rv living. Plus a bargain prime price. Awesome is life with us all helping one another. 💛
I watched your video on the Bluetti line, and I purchased an AC200MAX from your store. I enjoy your videos and I am happy a commission will be supporting your efforts. Thank you, sir.
I have the 3BA and a 120 W panel. So far, it doesn't seem to charge with the panel very quickly, even in FL sun unless it's FULL sun, but does recharge quickly from AC. . My next major power addition is going to be a small dual fuel generator for back up. Hopefully, the Champion 2500 will be on sale. Eventually, I'd like to have a full system with an inverter and battery bank. Lots to learn between now and then, lots of money to save, too.
A 120W panel would probably take several hours to charge IF you were getting the full 120 watts in, since it needs 600 watts to be full. I have 2 different brands of 200W folding panels, and either one will charge up the EB3A in about 3 hours in full sun in Florida from close to 0%. I have an AllPowers polycrystalline 200W that was only about $220 (on sale) and I have a pricier Bluetti 200W, and they both perform and charge wonderfully, so I would not hesitate to save money and get the lower priced one for your EB3A for faster charging. AllPowers also has a monocrystalline panel for usually $400 - I just kept checking to see any flash sales, on Amazon, on the company site, and sometimes EBay for various companies, and got the polycrystalline 200W folding panel for about $220.
It would be easier to just get 2 12 volt Deep cycle Marine Batteries, and a 2,000 Watt Inverter, and a 12 volt power socket, with a built in USB Port, and build your own Power Box Set up. That's what I intend to do.
Thank you Bob for all of this information.I think the weight of the charger is important for myself.I want to know ,what you are using in your rig during the winter to run your frig... Thank you for all of the continued great work you are doing,Bob! Right on!🙂👌
Bob, thanks for sharing all your unbiased research on this and ALL the products in your Amazon store. It makes RV living so much easier. Not to mention just shining a light on many RV/van lifers makes the lifestyle seem less lonely. :) thanks. I need some help knowing whether what I have and what I'm considering buying will work in regard to solar. I have 2 150W solar panels, 3 Universal Power Group 12V 100Ah AGM SLA DEEP Cycle VRLA batteries, Energizer 2000 Watt 12V Power Inverter. I have the Bodega 12 Volt Refrigerator. I want to purchase the CHANGE MOORE Dual Zone Car Refrigerator Detachable Battery for the Bodega cooler, Senville LETO Series Mini Split Air Conditioner Heat Pump 12000 BTU 110/120V, and 2 LiTime 12V 300Ah Lithium LiFePO4 Batteries. The only other constant draw I have is my Nature's head compost toilet fan (barely any draw). I occasionally charge little things like my rechargeable batteries (4 AA or AAA at a time), handheld vacuum, handheld shampooer for furniture, Blendjet 2 blender, laptop, and laser cat toy. Will these purchases make it possible for me to run the 12000BTU Senville mini split AC (with thermostat so not constant) and Bodega fridge (constantly). As well as charge the other things listed occasionally? Or do you recommend purchasing something else? Also, I do interior painting and want to leave my cat home alone while I work. Will you please recommend a temperature monitor to alert me if it gets too hot in the bus? Also, I'd like to purchase a large triangle or rectangle awning like this to put over the bus: www.amazon.com/dp/B075ZMXJQL/?coliid=IA10LV8443CH3&colid=3LX01SPRHQWDR&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_gv_ov_lig_pi_dp But the posts for it are too heavy duty for me to easily move if/when I move. Have you or your team of nomads come across any posts/poles that could withstand an awning like this AND are more practical for nomads when they move in a bus/van/ambulance? I'm not sure who/where else to pose these questions. If this is not the right place to pose a question like this, might you direct me to a more suitable place/person? Thanks for taking the time to read this, any answers you or readers may have for me, and for all your videos and product recommendations. :) Sara
Bob, I have the AC 200 P. And I was very excited when I first got it living in the desert with my three 200 W panels. I could also charge it with two 200 W panels as you said you need a minimum of 400 W to charge it. My question is should I buy the AC 200 max to add to the AC 200 P? My 200 W panels have gotten pretty beat up being out in the desert for over a year. They still draw power, but not like they used to when I first got them. What would you suggest to keep my AC 200 P efficient.? Also, I see their 420 watt solar panel that I like but that’s a little expensive as well. I’m kind of stuck on a decision. Either a AC 200 max or a 420 solar panel. No pressure, if you have the time to give me your opinion, it would be appreciated. If not, I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Or if anyone else out, there has an opinion please feel free to share that with me.
AC 200 Max sounds like where a nomad/person would be best If you can afford it to run the most appliances etc that you need on the road; if I’m understanding you correctly??
Renogy power stations are better build quality imo. Much quieter too. Pays for lots of ads does not equal top tier. It just means you have to pay ad tax on all the products.
I would love to get one of those in case of an emergency safe. But unfortunately, I can't for sharing. They safe out there and be careful happy travels.
Bob...great vid but I didn't even see it til 7/22. And I really needed this sage advice. I subscribe to ur channel and hit the bell for ALL notifications. What else can I do to not miss this type of info again, plz?? And the great price point on Prime day? THX
I have a EB3A because my inverter failed after 10 months, no wouldn't honor warranty, and I;d fight over the 3A. love it for phone, laptop, fan, TV and small appliances. charges fast off of 2-100 wat panels. Only flew it did not come with mc4 adapted, so I had to buy one that sucks.
Hey, Bob. Do you have any information about power stations we could use to run a refrigerator AND a CPAP? These are both absolute necessities for me (and numerous other folks, I imagine), and finding information online has been difficult.
When charging a power station using a regular house outlet, should you use a surge protector power strip or just plug the power station directly into the outlet? I'm not sure if these stations have surge protection inside the same way some have their own charge controller, etc. I would never plug a TV, laptop or other expensive device directly into an outlet. I assume the same fr a Bluetti, etc?
Thanks Bob! I took your advice and bought the EB3A for $199 today, my first power station for home outages and to supplement daily small electric uses. Now I need solar panels for 200w charging, any recommendations?
I have 3 dif kinds plus 1 generic. That small 1 is the best because it goes in my backpack and i can charge 90% in 1 hr at panera bread or starbucks or visiting friends houses. The mod level ones are bulky heavier and i take alot longer to charge even with eletric from a house. Also you need llendless solar panals to charge the big ones..in fact you can never keep any of these charged because evena fan burns so much eletric forget wbout tv etc...i tried my tiny fridge i jad to rotate .3 batteri3s a day. Forget wbout putting my friege in freezer mode. Ive been on my car 10 yrs but now in a rv boondocking i had to buy a generator. My next purchase is high end 300 batteries for rv 2 or 4 of them. Because these batteries have very little power. Also if something breaks your out alot money hence why i never bought expensive on3s just 200 to 330 i buy on ebay bluetti refurbished
Bob, I need a Bluetti power station to power my barn. I have led lights, two fans and need it to charge power tool batteries and sometimes a air compressor. I will not use it everyday but would like to run fans daily. What would you recommend? Thank you.
Is it possible to utilize these products in conjunction with already built in rig solar power? I have 190 W panel on roof, 1200 W inverter with 2 100 AH AGM Batteries. I’ve found that this is sufficient for lights, TV, streaming, 12 V max fan, but not microwave, refigerator or AC.
I have a question, I have a Set power FC 15/20.I don't do a lot of camping only in the summer time. But I did get this to keep my drinks cold,I love it a lot,I do have a Jackery Explore 300,would that be enough?
I can see myself becoming a rubber tramp. Not necessarily by choice but I rent, therefore I'm powerless. All is well but I'm Bob's age, so I'd rather do this earlier rather than later. But, we will see ?
I purchased the ecoflow 2 pro a month ago and it’s done a great job so far. I am planning to buy solar over the sale but can’t make up my mind what brand and if I should get a flexible solar panel and tape or glue on my roof or get a suit case or 100 solar on the roof and 100 portable. Big decision as room in the van with a large dog is minimal but I go to the NW in the summer and there is a considerable amount of shade. So a split system may be the best solution. What are you thinking? By the way my trip to the NW took me a week and my ecoflow kept charged when driving and ran my Setpower fridge/freezer running 14hrs a day on FREEZER mode and eco not plugged into anything. Good luck.
Yes but u may get stranded. If your already having a batterybir alternator issue this kind of charging will bring your car a a stop when you get stranded suddenly considering the price of altanotor work and tows and batteries I would buy that 1000 battery and pay someone to charge it at their house before iblet anything touch my car battery. I don't e en charge my cell in my car after a number of problems in last 6 yrs
It depends on the energy requirements of your specific CPAP unit as well as if you are using heat & humidity features. Also depends on capability of getting it fully recharged with driving, plugging into AC wall or will there be enough solar availability depending weather conditions, season of the year, and location like forest or open meadow/prairie. Check with your medical equipment provider to see if your machine has a recharging battery pack for the CPAP.
Does anyone out there just buy a 100ah battery and an inverter? Sure it's not in one compact package but you're gonna get much much more bang for your buck.
Can someone please help me. I am a single 64 year old woman. I am going to live and travel in my little Subaru. This is all new to me and I want to get what I need for the least money as I am on a budget. I would like to run a small 12 volt freezer occasionally to freeze cold packs for my small cooler. Maybe a small fan, charge my phone and maybe use a small personal blender, or a 12 volt cup size kettle, or lunchbox heater. Not all at once of course. But I have NO CLUE. This is a new life for me and I want to do it correctly. I am trying to get outfitted and head to Quartzite this winter. Help!!!! 10:29

We looked at Blue Yeti and found that Ecoflow's Delta 2 and Delta Max blue Blue Yeti away. To each their own.
Got an Anker Power Station for 50% off. It matters when the original price is around $1,400 and the sale brought it down to $700.
Are the batteries lithium.?
Sure wnough, I looked today and there it was.
Really interested in 200Max.
Can I b I t yhe EB300 WITH THE 200?
THATS A GREAT WAY TO GO.

Hey Bob,
I want to add battery to my Max 200 but do not see that in your links for you to get some Amazon credit.
I plan on taking advantage of the prime member sale. Thanks Bob great info 😊
I’m learning, Bob! Still don’t understand the difference between the EB and the AC however…? Help!
Thanks Bob! I took your advice and bought the EB3A for $199 today, my first power station for home outages and to supplement daily small electric uses. Now I need solar panels for 200w charging, any recommendations?
Australian version EB3A 220/240 volt down from 699 to 449 AUD
How is the tent holding up
Ac180 is 37.4# , do you have the b80 sale price?
The B80 won't directly hook up to the AC 180 you have to go through the solar port and limit to 600 watts😢
I have 3 dif kinds plus 1 generic. That small 1 is the best because it goes in my backpack and i can charge 90% in 1 hr at panera bread or starbucks or visiting friends houses. Also you need llendless solar panals to charge the big ones..in fact you can never keep any of these charged because evena fan burns so much eletric forget wbout tv etc...i tried my tiny fridge i jad to rotate .3 batteri3s a day. Hi Bob, Thanks for your videos. I will buy the AC500 today on Prime Day. Which solar panels work with the AC500?
Prime Days Are HERE !! however I find that in the last few years I get the best deals in the month running up to Prime Day.
Thank you
Eb3a powers my iceco go20 for 15 to 18 hours fully charged w/o solar engaged.
Bob, I need a Bluetti power station to power my barn. I have led lights, two fans and need it to charge power tool batteries and sometimes a air compressor. I will not use it everyday but would like to run fans daily. What would you recommend? Thank you.
Can solar be hardwired to the bluetti? The AC200MAX?
Big help, Bob!
Good morning,BOB !! do you think EB7 WOULD POWER 12 VOLT "ROAD PRO" (TRUCK STOP) COOKERS??🚀🤖🛸
Thanks for this info
I have a question, I have a Set power FC 15/20.I don't do a lot of camping only in the summer time. But I did get this to keep my drinks cold,I love it a lot,I do have a Jackery Explore 300,would that be enough?

Trying to decide between bluetti and eco flow river pro. Everyone says the ecoflow is better exept for the battery cycles.
Good luck.
Please review air coolers.
It won't run an electric frying, it won't run a mini fridge that is the size of a 6 pack of soda pop😮
Great deal...

This is going to sound like a stupid question. Can you charge these batteries from your vehicle driving?
Yes but only at a hundred Watts😢
@@rogerkerkmann man, I've really got to study this subject. Thanks
Not a stupid question.

Great video!
Will either of the first two run a CPAP machine?
It depends on the energy requirements of your specific CPAP unit as well as if you are using heat & humidity features. Also depends on capability of getting it fully recharged with driving, plugging into AC wall or will there be enough solar availability depending weather conditions, season of the year, and location like forest or open meadow/prairie.
Check with your medical equipment provider to see if your machine has a recharging battery pack for the CPAP.
Does anyone out there just buy a 100ah battery and an inverter? Sure it's not in one compact package but you're gonna get much much more bang for your buck.
If I have the EB3A, and a B80 with it, can I run a little 12v fridge?
How do you pair an Eb3a with a b80?
Definitely would like to hear your thoughts on pecron units
Help!!!! 10:29
