my brother does thrifting and he hates that i watch these thrifting videos on youtube cause he said these thrifting stations are what is ruining everything plus he said they dont to help people they only do it to get watchers and make money on there youtube channels
Salvation Army put out new stuff all day long( almost 4k pieces at my store a day ).We can not shop on days that we work or hold items so it is 1st come .no way a handful of resellers can ruin it unlessit is a very rural or impoverished area . The rural stores have less good finds on average due to the donations they receive .Prices have gone up because of inflation .people are scared and holding on , my store would not let shoes with holes on the floor , but more ragged out than good being donated some store maybe making due .either way they have to pull anything that has been there longer than 5 weeks and ship it to another store ..not mention when the shut down happened we had no income ,yet we had global programs running for child education ,rent assistance for locals in need , and our adult rehabilitation programs that house ,feed , and counsel free of charge .Even the dollar store is 1.25 now .yes you can absolutely buy a new top online for similar prices ,but Whom did you help with your purchase ?
