I like the idea, and loved the way you put it “a Harry Potter quality” totally true. My issue is the use for closeup as you said, besides being more visible it “fills” one of your hands so you have to alter some handlings. Maybe a flash that is disguised as a shirt button? Sure there are clothing restrictions but given you free up your palm it seems like a step up. Also lots of RUclips magicians should start wearing shirts! (Jk).
