I've been a member for 26 years, and have shopped at various locations for variety. I enjoy some of the deals, but their plan is to get you to spend more money, which doesn't happen to me always. If I'm focused on purchasing a specific item, I'll get it and leave. However, I do enjoy reduced pricing for veggies, fruits, clothing, meds, and other household items not found elsewhere. My latest beef is the self-serve check out, but I'm not forced to use it, even if there are long lines. The samples just unnerve me, as customers just seem to forget about others around them, and crowds build up for the "free food", when the item being sampled is not even purchased. I try not to shop at the beginning of a new sale, or at the beginning of a new month (due to state/county/city emps paydays and pension/social security/welfare disbursements) so I can enjoy lesser crowds. Finally have a store opening near me in December, about a 10 minute drive away, cutting down the drive time from 45 minutes.
I used to buy alcohol at Costco cause of their low prices. the tequila and Hennessy I'd get at the liquor store would be $70 or more where as costco was pnly $50. only thing is you had to use debit or cash no credit
Amazingly enough if you enjoy cooking Walmart’s selection of frying batters, pancake battere, muffin mixes, mustards, bbq sauces far exceeds Safeway. Costco, any other chain grocery store, including a very expensive “gourmet” grocery store in my neighborhood. No other store even comes close. I recently found 2 regionally famous mustards I had never heard of- one was from Cleveland Ohio 2400 miles east of here (Seattle).
I've been a member for 35 years (since 1988), I still have my original brown membership card. Santa Clara Ca is where I joined and the hot dog cart was outside back then. I was also a member of Price-Club till they merged. 3:51 Food prep lady isn't wearing gloves and is sticking her fingers inside the food wrapper, hmm.
1:29 CostCo’s hot dog is famous, not infamous. If you do not understand the difference, please look it up. They do not mean the same thing, and I imagine for it to be infamous, it would have to make everyone sick, or give your kids a third arm. 🤗
Some people are ok with the word infamous when it comes to hotdogs regardless of brand. They generally aren't actually good for you, so it might be the reason they prefer to use the word.
I do enjoy Costco but.... I get tired of getting harassed when it's time to check out at my local Costco which is going to make me not be a member anymore, because of it. I understand they're cracking down and I get that but they're getting extremely rude. At least it might start me not happen at others. I've also noticed the varieties not there as I get at Sam's club which I'm a number as well.
I routinely go to a half a dozen different Costco’s and I have never met a rude employee yet, in over forty years of shopping with them. I routinely drop $20+k a year at Costco.
Just buying gasoline here at Costco gas station will save us enough to pay for the annual membership along with using Costco credit card for extra cashback. Living here in hawaii, Costco membership is a must !
5 min, 47 seconds. Is that a different store? I can barely see the whole price, but I see 5.9*. (Can't see the last digit, but it is at least 5.90.) steve
CVS: We stopped selling tobacco products to keep our customers healthy. Also CVS: lines shelves with junk food, processed foods, candy, chips, and soda just to get to the pharmacy in the way back.

Every time I see a BBQ chicken at any grocery store, I laugh because, they want something like $8.00+ (and they are so tiny)! Costco's BBQ chickens have always sold for $4.99 and they are more than twice as large as the ones in grocery stores! I very often buy the Costco chickens. Maybe all stores should do what Costco does because Costco checks your membership card in order to get in and checks your receipts when you leave with you goods. Maybe those other stores wouldn't have so many mob thefts as many other stores have!
Costco pizza sucks since they did away with the combo pizza. Costco got cheap and stopped the combo. Sad day for pizza and cost. Horrible pizza! Bring back the combo!
I never understood their food court obsession with people. Their food while cheap, has some of the worst tasting food I have ever eaten. I have tried the pizza and hotdog at 2 local costcos and they taste the same. Still bad.
What do you like most about Costco?
CostCO needs to BRING BACK COMBO PIZZA!! ... I love that stuff.

Gawd you’re full of gripes. Thank goodness you’re not in line to be the next CEO at Costco. What a wet blanket.

@1:37 I’ve NEVER seen those types of buns used to pair with a Costco hotdog. Always sesame seeded buns as long as I can remember.
I wish I could get my wife to shop at Costco. She does all the household buying but does not understanding in buying in bulk. She was born in 1946
Make it a date, you can eat at the food court too.
I love Co$tco and HATE Walmart
Then stop going to Walmart
@@justinphan2984 I stopped 18 years ago when they accused me of shop lifting and they actually stole from me. Wal mart are evil 😈 criminals.

I feel exactly the same way.. I don't shop Wal-Mart. ... I used to go just to pick up things I needed to complète à meals. NOT anymore.
My only complaint that no one has an answer to why the combination pizza is no longer available. Does a few added veggies cost that much??
The genius of Kirkland is the quality. If Kirkland puts their name on it, it will be good.

Costco travel is AWESOME! We saved a ton and everything was seamless.
I will consider them. Thank you.
I purchased my car through the Costco auto program. It was very easy. I recommend it.

Yep, infamous is just about the opposite of famous.
Popular, but for a BAD reason. Winston Churchill
was famous. Adolf was infamous.

Just show em your card. What's so difficult about it?!
Never an excuse for rudeness. I do understand door checkers needed to keep theft and thus prices down.
Sam’s Club is Walmart’s rip off of Costco, but with Walmart quality.
I routinely go to a half a dozen different Costco’s and I have never met a rude employee yet, in over forty years of shopping with them. I routinely drop $20+k a year at Costco.
In California we have had cage free eggs for quite a long time. It has been several years.
The best orange juice you can buy. Kirkland brand. I can’t get along without it!
im at costco rn💀

I love Costco and since I live 10 minutes away I’m there 1 or 2 times a week. I love this store so glad it’s close to me
I have been shopping at Costco for over forty years. I just wish I had purchased Costco stock when I started shopping with them.

I wonder if the seemingly higher price is in Canadian dollars (which are worth less than U. S. dollars].
Costco ! Period .

My nearest Costco is in Mishawaka, Indiana.

The video is incorrect... You must be a member to use a Costco cash card!!
You say printed date bottom right corner, I see nothing in the bottom right corner
Did Costco pay for this 24 minute ad?
Under the teaser title is the tag [ sponsored ].
I found the pizza horrible. Sam's is really good. Might have been the particular store as it was new.
Interesting. Theres a new costco being built down the street from me. Looking forward to ditching sams club.
Sam's has better pizza.
