Whoever she is, she needs some words of encouragement. She seems very young. I'm 54 years old. I was 20 when I had my daughter. I never married or had any other children. I had a great support system, but I would never consider doing it again. She does need encouragement through the tough times and a reminder that they do grow up and to hang in there. Sometimes we learn lessons hard and this is one, but we must be accountable and persevere.

There was no word, no talk, no discussion. Then when she got mad at me, she kept me from seeing the daughter to extort an apology out of me (for pointing out her cheating during the marriage).
A lot of the women who complain about being a single mother won't tell you that they deliberately keep the child away from the father because of bitterness. We don't know if it's that situation, or it's one where she got pregnant by a fling who never even wanted to have a child in the first place.

We should have compassion, and at the same time call out this reckless behavior. I'm a single man, 36, no kids, never married, no debt and I caught all kinds of crap from women like this. I'm the bad guy for not sleeping around, being responsible and not putting myself in a position to where I wasn't ready for a relationship and possibly pop out a kid. But now these same women want to settle down with me as if I'm Captain Save a you know what. My mom was a single mother until she married my stepfather, who she committed adultery with. Do you know how painful that was to my father when they were married? I don't want to repeat that experience for me or my children. This problem is rampant, and hurts exponentially more in black communities. We gotta look in the mirror at some point and stop this foolishness.

I’m married and it’s hard managing the home, rearing the kids, cooking and cleaning. My husband works most of the time and I help with his business however, I’m learning that you have to become selfless. If not you’re going to go crazy and that’s the problem in this society we are so self absorbed we don’t know how to die to self especially for our families. I'm married and stay at home and you do have to sacrifice for your children. You brought the child in the world and the children need you. How you are comfortable giving ur children to strangers is foreign to me. It's normal for a child to want to be with you, especially if they are with strangers while you are at work all day. That's just how it works. There will come a time when they wont want to be with you and they wont have the proper attachment because they have been pawned off on others all their life. I dont get to do a lot because I'm a mother and I'm married. I made plenty of money, went to college, got my hair, nails, had a personal trainer, got massages, went out to eat at nice restaurants etc before I had children. That has all stopped, but it's been replaced with spending time with my beautiful family and traveling together as a family. Selfishness has had to go out the window. Now I focus on my family and have to keep myself up myself. My husband and my children come before me all the time because that's my role. Embrace it and be the best you can at it. Your children will benefit from it and ur family should be worth it.

My husband and I made the decision that once we started having children, I would stay home with them, and 5 years after we married and was more financially secure, we bought a home and started having children. Do I miss the free time I use to have sure sometimes, but I honestly can say I wouldn't trade this time with my family for all the money in the world. One day when our children are older I may go back to work who knows but for now my life is my kids and my husband and nothing, NOTHING is more important than that fact.

I needed to hear this pep talk because it will be easy to feel like my sacrifices aren't appreciated by society. But I know my little family needs and wants me just the way I am. I just need to be secure in my choice and thank God and my husband every day for this life.
I just went back to work after being a sahm for 4 years. All of the responsibility of raising my children fell on me, of course aside from my husband playing with them after work and disciplining them. These women just don’t understand that being a mother is a 24/7/365 sacrifice. Your life is not about you anymore. She is crying about not being able to workout in a gym and get her nails done which are not necessities. There were things that I just couldn’t prioritize over my children because I was not going to dump them off on my mother because she did not birth them.

The phrase is an oversimplified way of saying before you adopt or conceive a child with a person, whether it be a homo or heterosexual relationship to know if you and the other person would be compatible in raising a child together. Knowing each other's strengths, weaknesses, personalities, goals, lifestyle choices. No situation is perfect but communicating with who you are with about children is important.

She has a RUclips channel as well. I believe the father of her child was ‘abusive’ in some form and it got to the point she no longer felt safe around him. So she ended the relationship based off of that. She documents a lot but also doesn’t necessarily give all of the details.

The baby is so attached to her because she's mom but also maybe traumatized from abuse. They can't communicate by talking yet but can still feel and see. It don't sound like he has structure and his mom needs to get help spiritually and emotionally

As a 59 year old black man, let me break this down for you as I do sympathize for her and other single mothers as some of these single mothers didn't become single mothers because they wanted to, they became single mothers because of the sorry ass fathers of those children. Now Anton, I have to say, it's not always the woman's fault as you try and make it seem...I'm a retired US Army officer and combat veteran. I have 2 grown children, and a 15 year old daughter still home and in high school. Two daughters and one son. I raised my children just as I was raised and even more strict because of my military affiliation. I'm a grandfather of 3 at the moment and I still work full-time for the federal government and I own a small used car dealership. About 8 months ago my wife suffered a stroke that laid her up and she is limited on many things including having to walk using a walker and can't do many basic things that we take for granted. So my life changed when this happened. Not only that, my son who is in his late 20's had a child with a woman that already had 2 children and for whatever reason, he just can't seem to stay out of trouble and jail despite him having a great upbringing. The mother of his daughter is about as sorry as they come and none of her 3 children are in her custody because she can't keep a job nor a home and those children suffer. So despite all the things I have on my plate with my wife, 15 year old daughter, working a full-time job, and my car business...I had to take custody of my 3 year old granddaughter. So I am essentially a single grandfather with not only a wife to take care of but a 15 year old daughter and everything else including a 3 year old, and that includes taking my 15 year old to high school and taking my granddaughte to and from daycare, working, taking my wife to physical therapy, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning the house, doing laundry, and many other things, and still try to get some sleep in between.
So seeing that young lady cry and get emotional, it hits home for me because I understand what's she's feeling and going through, and it gives me a new respect for single women out there that deal with this daily because it is an exhausting life. So no Anton, it's not always the woman's fault for being a single mother, but it is very hard work and the fathers of these children that these women have (including my own son) need to get up off your sorry asses and do something to help not only that woman, but help the child you had a part of bringing into this world.
I don't know if my son will ever be a father to his daughter or if my granddaughter mother will ever be a mother to her daughter, but as long as God gives me the strength to get up each day and continue good health and life for me, my 15 year old daughter, wife, and granddaughter will receive everything they need to make it through life and adulthood for my daughter and granddaughter...If I can do all of this as a 59 year old father and grandfather, young guys out there that read this... get your ass in gear!! It's easy to come on this platform and point the finger at this woman or any other woman, but it takes a strong disciplined person to do what a single mother does or what I am doing myself. So instead of laughing or making stupid comments here, ask yourself could you do this yourself if you were in my shoes or the shoes of millions of other single mothers??

You wrote all that and it ignores the fact that your situation is different. Most of these single mothers situations stem from irresponsible sex and bad decisions, that’s why no one feels bad for them. Both parents are at fault but we never see the dads on here crying and begging for sympathy

No Sir. There is a certain group of men that these women are all attracted to and choose to reproduce with. They are free to choose whomever they want, but they also don't like the cons of their choices. Everything you described about your situation is completely different from the premise of this video and I believe no one here will put you in the same category as these women. My mother was a housewife. We were never spoiled, nor did we create 'dramatic' scenes of codependency when we were being watched by other family members.

Who told her that life would be grand as a single mother? This modern society has made a mockery of family structure. Children need their father just as much as they need their mother. Please stop promoting single motherhood. Please stop procreating and having children with people you don't want to be married to. Stop crying on the internet and go make a connection with your childs father. That is who can help you. Not Social Media.

When you see married women have date nights, and girls weekends but the single mother does not have those options.
