After she swipes right on a Tinder date with a hot Samoan rugby star, Sina is forced to fight for her life when confronted by an other-worldy predator.
Sina is encouraged to go on an online date with Tu, a local star rugby player.
When Tu turns out to be more than he seems, Sina reaches for the power of her namesake, the moon goddess, to help her to resolve her situation.
Sina is a legendary moon goddess across all of the Pacific. In a famous Samoan legend Sina brings the gift of the coconut to the world through the unrequited love of the aitu Tuna, the fated eel who stalks her.

Okay for those who don't understand, here is my interpretation (You can get a better understanding by reading the description of the video). Throughout the film she is shown to have been abused before (or currently being abused by someone at home?) and in the intro of the video it shows "Atua - Protector of Women" and a different explanation of the story where instead of being good friends with the eel, the eel falls in love with her and follows her. I think that's probably where most of us got confused, this story is a different take than the ones we've heard. But anyways I'm assuming that Sina keeps getting glimpses of her abuser while she was out and when meeting Tu (I'm assuming short for tuna) due to trauma? and that when Tu is in the bathroom him looking like the abuser was foreshadowing or a symbol to show that he (the eel) is also a predator. After taking advantage of Sina, Sina reaches out to her namesake, the moon goddess Sina for help in her moments of vulnerability. Sina then goes out and idk like enchants him?? and proceeds to cut his head off. And yeah that is what I got from it. Here is what the description of the video says about the goddess, "Sina is a legendary moon goddess across all of the Pacific. In a famous Samoan legend Sina brings the gift of the coconut to the world through the unrequited love of the aitu Tuna, the fated eel who stalks her." so that shows this film was based on a different version where the eel is a stalking predator instead of sina's lover and/or friend.
I had the hots for Frankie Adams.
Now I'm scared of her
Stay away from Papakura club rooms. 🤪
Not the Waita club rooms 😂😂
Nice episode 🇼🇸❤️👏🏼👏🏼Sau funa Sina, sau funa Sina, le tamafafine o le feagaiga.. the song is sung beautifully except the word used fuga is in relation to flowers or tree branch like fuga laau. The correct word is funa which is a more affectionate way of the word suga for females. As the song is about Sina and her brothers - va tapuia the feagaiga relationship between brothers and their sister/s.
Sina and the eel ...haha good modern retelling
Awesome vid ! Can someone explain this version 🙏This ones a bit different to the one I know growing up, but open to learn new things. 👍🏼
The heck did I just watch?

Can u guys do a tongan short film
I miss seeing Frankie on screen, good to see Dominic on here too (Sina's match date)
Frankie Adams putting on another solid performance
Yes shes my idol
The Song at the end 😂😂😂 I thought this was told well.
I thought the tuna was suppose to be a good friend of Sina that was slayed by her brothers
Yeah true .she's not supposed to cut off his head and episodes this is not the right story
@@tavaugasu522 true 👍
She had to stand on her own and do the shit herself
If you had payed attention closely you'll notice that they aren't remaking the story from how it was told, and no, Tuna WAS a good friend of Sina but Sina then got scared of tuna as he grew bigger.
