Holy smokes. I was short handed on a demolition job site and the home owner told me some guys from homeboy were gonna give me a hand, this guy showed up with the knowledge of operating a tractor and took charge and freeing me up to do other things I would have been able to get to that day… blowing my mind watching this and understand how he was so helpful
Eddie "El Animal" Lopez from this Hood..El Animal became a professional boxer that also got hired by Sylvester Stallone..in the movie Rocky 2 you can clearly see his Hazard tattoo on his stomach
Next to the guy you were going to fight Gracia for being a mentor you had a 50 or 51 gmc 4 sale if I remember correctly rip 🏆 should have bought it respecto

Thank you God for saving this man and the many others in the LA area who survived and are now living in Christ . Amen Lord only you know what these men in LA area been through please bless those that been through it and have mercy on them in Jesus name
I recognize his face from 'American Me'. He's in the scene where the BGF hit squad interrupted the dope production and suffocated him and homeboys to death. He is the one wearing a tank top and a cigarette on his ear.
I been from homeless 2 being in a street gang and been in state prison and federal prison its hard being out of prison and living a normal life cause in the end the streets is all you know but I got a beautiful daughter's and I would love to change my life if I could get a second chance to do something good for my daughter's and wife I hope I can get a better life and I pray 🙏2 God everyday for someone to come help me out of my struggles and that would be my biggest dream 🙏amen
Much love and respect my boy, God is good! I was at home boys with you right before a last my site and my leg. I went back to speak over there as well. Keep doing what you’re doing my boy push the hope and encouragement
I know Big Hazard very well , that's where everybody use to go score porvo at in the projects in the 70s . Buy an ounce 125.00 . Thank God I survived those days , it was pretty wild . God is good !
You can change. Only you can do it. It’s all up to you and how hard you want to work at making that change. Millions have done it before and am sure many have had things even harder. So just know it can be done.
I remember these guys from El Sereno Junior High, 1988-1989, “Boolla”!! Still had the mullet long hair, before RG and Hazard jumped in all the kids that “backed up” the gang. At that time you could “back up” the gang, but they started jumping everyone in and making them official. Gabriel was quiet, out of his element in school, good people. Ran into them later, “Happy and Grumpy”, I was along the tracks coming from king Torta, car pulled up and guys got out and started going thru my pockets. They got out and recognized me and I got all my stuff back. I remember being relieved, but I also remember thinking it was sad to see them in that situation, probably dead soon. Glad to hear at least one of them is still good.
I was never a gang member but I grew up in Rose Hill courts Housing Authority Los Angeles, but I'm glad I made it. I once did go to see what homeboy was but it did not work out for me. In guess I have a different believe I mean yes it's helpful God bless you all.
Gang members are no doubt very frightening to be around or knowing they're nearby. However, ex gang members who have turned their lives around are really pleasant to speak to and I can sit there all day talking to them, listening to their stories of their past.
Congratulations keep up the good work I feel that same on all the gang problems and I try to speak on it to some of the homies and other people I'm grown now have a family god is good to us all amen brotha
🙏🙏🙏🙏💪💪 what’s happening homie. I’m glad bro see your doing good and survived the hood. God bless you brother. Keep up the good work bro. God bless. You probably don’t remember me. I know you and your twin brother. You’re happy and grumpy. I also knew puppet r.i.p. and his carnal animal. It’s me big bandit hazard condors. 1989.
This guy is a smart guy. Just born into wrong circumstances. I’m glad he was able to transcend his environment for something better. But I wonder how most others with no skills or education will fare?
I’ll tell you something else, my first crush was a girl they called “Cutie”, she had a sister named Veronica, met them both at El Sereno JH. She was going out with “Shadow” from BH, but she’d come see me. I wasn’t in a gang, had lots of friends in different gangs, but I stayed out of it. She and I had a crazy attraction between us, she would tell me about him when we were together, she said she felt like she was a different person with me. We all lead double lives at that time, brave and crazy out in the street, but scared and lonely in the silence.
When I was in New Folsom Father Greg was kicking it with us on the handball court in C-Facility back in 1995 telling us to go to Sundays Mass. Some shit kicks off black people only we get down on the ground the tower fired a couple of live rounds we told Father Greg you better get down them tower cops will shoot 🔫 anything that is not green and moving.

Father Greg is a real Homeboy. Helped out some people from my neighborhood too. God Bless him and all his work.
Best quote ever. “The blind leading the blind.” That quote perfectly explains gangs.
most gangs yes but not all
