the thing about housing is it's very specified to people who enjoy such a mechanic. it's completely optional (you even get a basic one for free) and you never NEED to spend money on it. that's the thing about ESO. spending money is never mandatory, and there's virtually no P2W.
i think a huge pro to eso is, that they made it possible to play with friends in other alliances and even quest through another alliance zone + the fact players cant run up and kill you for being in the wrong zone or in meny other ways hinder you from doing certain content which happens in other mmo's
Pro: Even if you stop playing for a few years, you can come back and still have all your stuff. Con: ESO never made an auction house, so you still have to go all over hell's half acre to find one set piece at a reasonable price.
I appreciate how "to the point" you are in this video as well as your enthusiasm. I'm still on the fence about giving Elder Scrolls Online a try -- but I hope it continues to be entertaining for you!
damn ur really entertaining to watch, u should do more than eso videos you should do meme reacts or play-through a variety of games that are popular rn, ur very entertaining to watch bro for real
i started ESO like a month back and have grinded to lvl 400 already, I feel its got huge potential but it is a bit intimidating for new players. i love the game but some cons (mentioned and not mentioned) make the game tedious af
nice video!, for my self i have a lot of questions about the game, and almost all the answers are from 10 years ago, for example, is the loot shared? can it be stealed, ev get his own loot and xp?. can u turn gold to crowns? is the shop too* heavy on selling "convenience" items like bag/bank expansions? is there a stat normalised pvp mode? or is it all centered in the loot that u have gotten?
Ok so 1. there is tradable loot in dungeons, but everyone gets instanced drops, also cant be stealed. 2. you cant turn gold into crowns. 3. The store isnt too bad, but you are heavily swayed into buying the games membership for convenience and dlc. 4. There is no specific pvp gear, all gear can be used everywhere.
Bought it on sale on psn and so far i regret it ive been playing mmo's since d.a.o.c. and e.s.o. is more cookie cutter than most and the plus for 15$ a month is not worth it but game isnt worth playing without it psn took me once again with a sale
Weapon swap was always a big con for me but I sometimes hear whispers of my Khajiit calling to me from time to time! Recently cancelled my wow classic sub and re-installed both SWTOR and LOTRO unsure of where to land i'm currently in gamers purgatory and ESO is still on the mind. Last time I played ESO group queue's were bad for dungeons (+ broken queue system) and/or people leaving the group would be another con.
The prices are criminal. I've seen a lot of fellow ESO players defend the crown store, which is just pathetic. A house in a nearly 10-year-old game should NOT cost anywhere near $100.
I started ESO with Elsweyr and loved it. Played for 3 non stop years. None of expansions were as good as Elsweyr. And as opposed to an RPG, your character has no longevity. Constant balance changes, nerfs, new metas ... rinse and repeat. I was after titles like Tick-Tock Tormentor, but if you are 40+ without a group or time, this constant changing meta never lets you keep up and get a decent title. So I gave up. Expansions were anyway lame after Elsweyr, so nothing to quest ...
another con is that there is only two servers EU and NA. There isn't an OCE server or even a chinese superserver or any asia megaserver. so i guess if your like me and live in NZ then choose NA cause theres tonnes of Aussie discords n stuff that u can join for whatever content.
Good video! I play Eso from day one. But I update to a pc and I don't really want to create a new character. I spend so much money on my main. Eso needs to be crossave
I unfortunately don't have any game buddies life is boring so i depend on player base and this game is loosing its player base plus i do highly prefer class depth and variations so i guess eso is not for me
Yeah, I'm casual and i can run into an enemy camp and run past every hostile npc so they all chase me and then just turn around and kill em all. Fun at first gets boring over time.
I don't understand mmos.... if the point of playing is to get to max level, why not just start you off at max level so you can start playing the enjoyable bits?
See, most MMOs are definitely like that which sucks, but MMOs should have a fun enjoyable leveling process, most just focus on their max lvl player base sadly
ESO does not work like that, you start pretty much at max level, level just gives you more damage if you put it on magic or stamina, and skills just give you more utility. But there is no level as in wow. a human minon has 31k hp regardless, a bear got like 50k hp. You start at 12 k with gear you get to 16k, then on 50 you don't increase that much from 16 k if you do not have utility gear and champion points.
Levellng in MMOs is supposed to gradually get you familiar with your abilities, which you unlock over time. Its not hard to get to max in ESO. If you want, you can get there in a few hours with some help.

ESO is like an online Zelda where you just keep getting new Zelda games to play.

TRUUUUUUUE
lol, still no AH, that figures.
An action house would be bad. The way you have to go around and find stuff is good for the economy.

The lore/quests and characters are just the best, extremely memorable

Thanks that means a lot! I plan on playing and making vids on a lot of games other than eso 😄
@@Shoally you will blow up bro ur content is funny as hell

Yeah, I feel like 90% of MMOs are intimidating just because of how MMOs work lol, soooo much content to consume
lol, try starting new in Final Fantasy 11. 😉
It's really just good fun and a different world to be in for a minute if rl becomes too mundane. I love hanging out with people in groups
What MMOs are all about 😁
Yes and even PvP is better than ever. They are going great things for balance.

Much appreciated!
PRO: Everything I want in MMO
CON: Ping sucks for southeast asian. No sever transfer 😂

if the Khajiit calls you must answer brother... LOL
Thank You!
You're content is very funny!🔥👍
Greetings from Germany, Bavaria!❤
No, thank YOU! 😎
I was considering eso until you let us know about the high end housing 😂
yeah its a bit rough lol but there are many other free housing options that you dont have to buy with crowns!

Yessss if I had all the characters from my 5 years of playing it on Xbox that would be so lit, more games need that in general
Great video ..very informative thanks for the time spent on this ..
Im a fan of the Terraria Soundtrack
terraria hitttssss

The combat and graphics is still stuck in 2014… so what that being said, this is a VERY casual mmo.
yea, but graphics aren't toooo too important, so its alright
Yeah, I'm casual and i can run into an enemy camp and run past every hostile npc so they all chase me and then just turn around and kill em all. Fun at first gets boring over time.
@@dojle74 yeah regular overworld mobs are a joke lol but there are some really cool and challenging dungeons end game!
yeah classic wow is so much better in graphics...
Eso is beautiful bro, only mmo with best graphs is nw
its still better than pay to win games

*EGADS,* the classes are still screwed up! 😒
cronus zen hacks is top tier. Game is hacked to trash.
The combat is so atrocious.. I can’t overlook it, which is sad because I really thought the rest was amazing
Yeah no, this is video way too zoomer for me.
Lmao, piss off :D
