You are a phenomenal teacher, using bits of theory make it easier to navigate and follow you rather then just placing fingers on certain bars! I loved Coldplay-Spark Could you make a lesson on Slow Dancing in a Burning Room-John Mayer? Thanks Roxanna
Hey, thanks for the positive feedback. Glad to hear my style of teaching has been helpful. I've never really been into John Mayer - although I've always respected his skills. At this point in time I'm so busy so not really taking requests, hopefully there's some useful info out there to help. Tc
Nice cover and sounds great However, in the studio version the chord behind "glasses of champagne..." Is a C major - not G Minor 7 Also the interlude part (bending over backwards) goes to a B Major followed my G Minor combo Just in case anyone cares, but this version sounds great.
Hey Dino, your lessons are so helpful! There's a song castaway from soul singer curtis harding that i would really like to learn. Could you do a lesson on the song?
Correct me I'm wrong but the last x2 chords you show gm7 and am7 as 355333 and 577555 are only minor chords. Gm7 with 6 strings should be 353333, G, D, F, Bb, D, G G root chord, D is the fifth, F is minor 7th, Bb is the minor 3rd and the last 2 are octaves higher off the tonic and dominant note of G. Same goes for a but slide down 2 frets. Or6i play it gm7=3x333x and am7=5x555x. Just saying to help others in no way do I mean this in a bad way... I like your sparks cover a lot
Hey bro, this is totally correct - those last 2 chords are major triads (1,3,5) not minor 7's. I'll pin this comment so others won't get confused, thanks for pointing it out. This vid is pretty old, and I probably slapped it together on the fly. The Coldplay stuff is definitely a lot more accurate, and my new stuff is also on a much higher level. Thanks again for stopping by - stay blessed!
You keep saying the third chord is "G minor 7" which has the same shape as "A Minor 7", but that doesn't look like what you're playing at all and I can't tell what you're actually playing because I can't see your fingers. When I play Gm7 with the Am7 shape, it doesn't sound like what you're playing and doesn't sound right with the song. Can you elaborate on your fingering for the chord and make it more clear what you're playing?
+troialexis123 The tabs are in the description my friend. If you're new to movable chords then then you can stick to playing the chords open. I f you are also struggling with reading the tab: play the 6th, 4th, 3rd & 2nd string all in the 5th fret - & that in an Am7 / now, slide that same shape back 2 frets so you're plying the same shape in the 3rd fret- and boom you're playing a Gm7
Good job man, best tutorial that i found, and for sure i dont need to looki for more!
great interpretation of a fine tune.

B flat major **
It's Bbmaj7 to A-7 in the original song but D-7 isn't bad since it just the upper partial of Bb. otherwise nice!

Please make a tutorial on how to play I couldn't love you more - John Martyn!
I thought I was trippin when I saw the name of this in my sub box...
+Ghostfall Alpha lol - It's not my regular type of song choice, but saying that one of my earliest vids was Marvin's Room
It's a pretty sick way to integrate acoustic guitar and mainstream hip-hop though, so keep up the good work!
Cheers bro! Gotta give some props to Mr Stuart for the cover.
how did he do the am7 and gm i cant see
Dean Yap am7 is 575555 gm7 is 353333 starting with the bass e
what part is hook and chorus (follow the lyrics)
What kind of guitar is this
+Robert Corralejo Seagull S6 Coastline

what about the bridge?
"Doing things I taught you, gettin' nasty for someone else
You don't need no one else...."
Thx a lot
+Gab Pro You're welcome. I never worked out the bridge but the bass line uses the same notes i think with a Bb in there as well.
+FundamentalGuitar ill try this ill tell you
i have a freind who thought i suck at guitar because i cant play this and i can sherd (even though iam not the best sherder but i can sherd a bit)
your bicep looks like its trying to morph into a american football
Bb7+ instead of Dm7 ;)
i found and easier way, cappo on 3rd fret and play a dm and am
I was almost sure it was Charlie Puth in the back
