    I'm not 100% sold on baggy jeans trend ending, super baggy yes, but I don't see normal baggy leaving. Everyone had been saying baggy jeans would die out for two years now and I'm just not convinced yet.

    • @dnydon
      @dnydon  Месяц назад +8

      Completely agree, I think super baggy are on the decline, but loose fit/baggy will still be around

    • @CozyMigs
      @CozyMigs Месяц назад +3

      In a way, I feel like the super baggy but complimenting body type like wide leg jeans but the waist is fitting fine is the new style. Like I feel like the straight leg regular baggy look is becoming “basic” and the new wave is that wide leg draping over the boots/loafers/sneakers. But yes the super ridiculously baggy where you need the belt on the literal last loop to keep the pants up is deff leaving

    • @dnydon
      @dnydon  Месяц назад

      @@CozyMigs yes exactly! The insanely super baggy jeans will faze out rather soon

      Love the super baggy ! If they fit your waist/hips properly, they're *fire*

      Appropriate baggy pants/jeans is here to stay forever. It opened up people’s understanding on proportions and balance between shirts and bottoms. People will mature and yes will leave ULTRA baggy jeans, but slightly baggy is just right

    The older I get, i start to realize trends don't really matter for me. Every "trend" of the last decade or nearly every trend is just recycled historical classic menswear. It underscores the importance of just wearing what you like. For me that happens to be classic timeless clothes.

    • @dnydon
      @dnydon  Месяц назад +1

      Well said! It’s so important to stick to what you like

    • @GregSkinner

      i agree. there may be that one thing that pops out but, for the most part, it’s we re just repeating something

  • @GurkenJesus
    @GurkenJesus 17 дней назад +2

    Atp we should all have realised that no trend is ever „leaving“ so in order to stop overconsuming literally just wear what you want. But yes extremes are always very trend-bound but skinny jeans as well as baggy jeans are classics. There is no single item that will make you stylish period. Wear what you want and learn how to wear it.

    I think the thing about men’s fashion is that it’s a loop, it repeats its self, maybe some alterations here there but men’s fashion brings life to some items that died in the past (skinny jeans ain’t coming back from the grave) lol😭 but for men’s fashion because we are limited to items we have to be creative with the items we have and make them stand out unlike women’s fashion that has a wide collection of pieces

    1. I think these are all on the nose for 2025! I was just in NYC last week and saw all of these already starting especially the scarf hood and denim on denim outfits
    2. I can’t believe we continue to see the return of fashion pieces in this generation. I remember as a kid every adult I knew owning a peacoat and now it’s back and worst of all, now I’m the adult lol
    3. I already know I’ll never be able to give up my baggie jeans, I just love them so much, so comfy and cute!!
    - sorry for the long comment hahaha

    I can still see the “kids” putting on baggy jeans but straight/loose is more timeless. I think timeless fashion and run club aesthetic will be a thing this year. I don’t think any new trends will take over like in the past. I’m sure the luxury brands will push new looks.

    • @dnydon

    This year I’m purchasing less and getting rid of more. Having rules like add one remove two. As well as cycling out clothes. Thrift stores lost their charm and no longer have the same inventory as the once did. I’d rather take fewer trips and go vintage shopping so that I can find quality pieces that also have an identity to reflect my own style. A big thing for me this year is finding clothes that fit well and layer well with jewelry….moc Turtlenecks I’m looking at you.

      I get where you’re coming from! My focus in this video is to highlight trends that can inspire people to refresh their look, but I always encourage finding ways to make trends work with what you already have or through sustainable options like thrifting. It’s all about mindful choices 🤝

  • @JustAnotherRoger

    • @dnydon

      thrifting became a trend once resellers became a massive problem. i used to be able to find great stuff thrifting, now its the same shit every time i go. fast fashion, walmart, target clothes etc. thrift stores have also caught on in my area and started upcharging on "vintage clothing"
