I would say Camarosaurus, it's bigger and taller but not too big. Argent is boring as hell because it is too slow, plus your so strong your invincible and nothing besides another Argent can kill you. I say Camarosaurus because it is actually bigger than Rex so it can properly defend itself from one unlike Amargo. I would have it be strong but not overpowered, and it would actually still be defeat-able unlike Argent (AKA Godzilla). I say that at least 2 or 3 skilled rexes should be able to take it down.
They couldn't add a sauropod that is bigger than trex cause it's not fair to have something be far stronger than the other dinosaurs and it would have to be another small sauropod for it to be fair
@@danielmcnulty5431what about shunosaurus almost the same size as amargasaurus and its tail is so stronge with a rock in it like ano and runs quite fast
I think the buff that the amarg needs is for the stomp to have a bone break affect. A 5-8 seconds bone break should be good and would make alot of sense.
Armarga suffers from what I like to call the suedo apex symdrome. Its something ive notice in legacy isle and pot. It has some of the highest stats among non apexes, but doesnt have the speed to run from apexes or the stats fight apexes either. Compare that to the similar size herbivores; lambeo, stego and iggy. They can all outrun apex carnis, with the ladder two actually being able to fight back in some cases. Armarga has insane stam stats and is tanky so it can try to out last apexes in a marathon, but it needs either slight more speed or more defense in my opinion dor that to be more viable. Not to mention rexes can bone break you and youre basically screwed
I agree. I can deal with raptors and mid pretty well, but Rex or another apex? I just give up, can't win, can't outrun. Well maybe in terrain og water but.
1. Why compare amarga to a Rex and Not a dino in the same combat weight range? 2. The DPS test was rigged, why would you Not use headbutt while stomp is on cooldown ?
(Edit: fixed up the stats) The HP stat by itself doesn't really matter - same with the damage of your attacks. It all depends on the combat weight. Tyrannosaurus is 6500/4650 = 1.4x heavier than the Amarga. It means that: - Rex's bite will deal 80*1.4=112 dmg to Amarga's 800 HP - Amarga's stomp will deal 100/1.4 = 71 dmg to Rex's 800 HP Or you can just look at it as Rex having 1.4x the "actual HP" compared to Amarga - so from the point of view of Amarga: stomp is still 100dmg, but Rex is 1120 HP. Or from the pov of Rex: bite is still 80dmg, but Amarga has 571 HP. It's the same reason why Rex's 80dmg bite is actually 23% stronger than Dasp's 120dmg heavy bite or why Spino's 50dmg bite is 30% stronger than Cerato's 100dmg charged bite.
Thank you for this detailed comment. Honestly makes me happy that some players are aware that there are so much more to the pvp than just biting and slashing.
@@AudunVokter I think this system is just too complex… we have to check out stats for defense, armor, hp and combat weight just to calculate the health of the dinos. And with majority of people simply not doing that we end up thinking that sarco has less health than a metri, just because it has “less hp”. It could all be summed up with a “total” health and damage stats like: -deinonychus: 500hp, 50dmg bite -ceratosaurus: 1560hp, 130dmg bite -allosaurus: 2800hp, 240dmg bite -t rex: 5200hp, 520dmg bite ^it is what actually happens right now, you just have to have a stat spreadsheet and a calculator opened to keep track of it for yourself
Aww, I love amarg, they're so cute and unique. I think the Pokémon Aurorus probably influenced my love for it too, lol. Thanks for this guide, it was really good. Even though you didn't enjoy your time on amarg, you still gave some pretty solid advice! I really think some folks underestimate amarg, but it does have its issues and I'm hoping they'll give it a lil buff eventually.
the amarg needs a heavy buff. increased weight with more damage on abilties. truth be told its basically the weakest herbi slowest and lowest damage output. They were not kidding when they say its weight makes the difference, but even then their so slow its basically comes down to its a cosmetic dino at best. I hope it gets an op buff cause barely ever find any amargs.
I'm just glad Amarg isn't as trash as it used to be. Yesterday a defense build sucho attacked my attack sub species Amarg and I absolutely ruined the sucho, mainly using tail attacks and letting the sucho accumulate a lot of bleed from the passive bleed each time it attacked my tail end. I was barely hurt in the end and the sucho was a bloody mess and ran off into water across onto opposite land to lay down to heal its bleed build up. Probably one more tail attack would of killed it or the bleed alone would of done it in if it didn't retreat to lay down.
Marg is not worth the grow just wait for another sauropod like bronto. Marg needs dmg buff on head butt n tail whip if not it's just a walking free trophy
@@danielmcnulty5431 na I wouldn't say it's too op it's because the maps can't support such a large sauropod like argent so bronto is the next best thing. Even Veloci agrees to the sauropods bro.
Amarga is slow on land & in water, but their high stamina & oxygen, combined with their height, make water a reasonable choice in case of emergencies. Should Path of titan get another official sauropod? And if yes, should it be one that can rival the modded argentinosaurus?

They said they won’t be adding anything bigger than 20 meters, so camara would be as big as it’ll get

If they add titan Sauropods they should add tree feeders for Sauropods too. And new diet exclusive for tree feeding

Good Idea. Or maybe a bit more speed (to actually escape rex etc), maybe a little more HP/CW.

Agreed.
At least from what I’ve experienced so far my choices when running into apexes were either fight and die or just die.
But u don’t need the speed. All apexes are terribly slow and have very bad stamina. You are out running it easily if it dosent bb you.
It definitely needs a huge speed buff. And in my opinion, heavy knockback on its tail.
Going the speed build makes you pretty fast with enough stamina to out run rex so most rexs will give up fairly easily but ok
I agree. I can deal with raptors and mid pretty well, but Rex or another apex? I just give up, can't win, can't outrun. Well maybe in terrain og water but.
I went defense build purely for the aesthetics, im prepared to die but look gorgeous while doing so
Defence build is definitely the best cause it is plus two defence and the others are minus defence
I prefer defense as well
