I just did this but the honey I used already had garlic and ginger for medicinal reasons. The result was awesome since it accentuated the garlic and ginger in the marinade, thank you for this quick yet delicious recipes.
I just made these tonight. After marinating in the fridge overnight, the flavor permeated all the way through the meat. It was absolutely delicious! The only thing I might change if I make it again is to reserve some of the marinade and save it to baste the wings a few times while cooking, like I do with char siu, just to have some more of that sticky, savory goodness bake onto it. The honey glaze at the end adds just the right amount of sweet to balance the savory, spicy (I like sriracha) flavor. I will definitely be making this again, and will try it on the charcoal grill next summer. Thank you for another great recipe!
I'll try that one for sure. BTW, my wife takes those root ends of the green onions and puts them in a pot to grow. Haven't had to buy scallions in a long time!
Looks like a winning recipe. I thanked to powers that allowed me in my young and single years to meet and begin dating a Chinese woman. We dated for years and was introduced to Asian style cooking. Love it to this day. Make much of it myself, so much so my kids joke that I should be Chinese, lol. I am loving your Cantonese style of cooking.
Ohhh yum,I am buying my hoisin in the am!!?Its about to start rainfall soon ,so I will BBQ on my patio (These wings look so delish)... Thank You for sharing.!!Merry Christmas.
Hello and thank you for this recipe. I ❤️ 🐓 wings and my favorite is this way but, 🥵 . Just so happens, you r on time with this recipe because I’ve been craving me some Chicken. God bless you and Happy , Safe Holidays and an even Prosperous New Year 🎉
I've never seen these in Australia before, but I have seen something like this in Singapore, and I love them. In Singapore they cook them on a spit, and glaze them while they cook.
Thanks for the easy recipe. They look great! I can't wait to buy some wings and try them. I have all the other ingredients, except for the sriracha sauce. I will add some hot sauce in place.
So very much enjoy your videos. I have your wok. It is fantastic. It would be great if you could put the phonetic spelling of the Chinese description of the food to help us all learn a little more x
i'm making it now, but in the video you said 1.5 teaspoons of salt, while on the screen it says 1.5 TBL (which means tablespoons). is it tsp or TBL for the salt? please advise! ^_^ and thank you for all the great recipes!!! i've made many of them, and they're all amazing.
I love that you show the picture and list of ingredients. I watched you cooking essentials video and got everything I needed when I was in a larger town. Not much here in central Alabama as far as Chinese cooking ingredients unfortunately. It made my trip to the store seamless when in CA. Also we are beekeepers with lots of honey so this recipe is perfect!
I read the article about you in the South China Morning Post. Congratulations on all your success. My wife and I love your recipes!
We love your recipes! We watch them in class and discuss your techniques and ingredients. Thank you!
Late to the party, just made these and they were delicious! Great videos.
I'm back to say, I just did this wing recipe. We loved them and plan to make them a lot more. My neighbors enjoyed them as well.
Souped up receips are the simple (and yummy) receips! 😋😋😋👌👌👌
A simple, uncomplicated recipe with easy to find ingredients and just a few of them. Now this I like! Thank you. 💕💕💕

PS I am on a sodium restricted diet so omitted the salt and used low-sodium tamari sauce instead of the regular soy. Still came out tasting great.
This is awesome! A new go-to recipe. 😊
I'll try that one for sure. BTW, my wife takes those root ends of the green onions and puts them in a pot to grow. Haven't had to buy scallions in a long time!

Made this for dinner, easy 8/10!
Love your recipes. Do you have an adjusted airfryer temp version?
I've never seen these in Australia before, but I have seen something like this in Singapore, and I love them. In Singapore they cook them on a spit, and glaze them while they cook.
Looks super yum, thanks :) btw, Happy New Year, shortly.
Yum! I will definitely be trying these soon.
Oh yes! I’m going to do these in my airfryer ( which has replaced my oven technique) - I’ll also add a little Sriracha to the honey glaze🤤
Oh, these look great. I look forward to a trial run!

Cant wait til the printable recipe is posted...
Hi Mandy! Would you please clarify the difference between aromatics and other seasonings?
This recipe is easy! I’m looking forward to giving it a try!
SImple, delicious, spicy, sweet, sour, checks all the boxes for an appetizer or a meal. Will be giving this a try fairly soon.
I will try, it's look so delicious.
Yummy, looking forward to printing recipe.❤️Chinese food👏🌟
Gotta try
I can already taste it, with the addition of sesame off course.
Have you a recipe for Peking pork chops. The sauce is so much better than sweet and sour.
Yummy 😋😋 love your recipe s
CNY coming, can teach how to cook poon choy? Thank u
Look.yummy!!!
That looks delicious and yummy chicken 🍗
I had this sweet poultry pun.
But I don't want to get roasted, so I guess I'll just *wing it!*
It’s important that we seize the opportunity to make puns instead of chickening out.
LoL
Oh, Honey.
So very much enjoy your videos. I have your wok. It is fantastic. It would be great if you could put the phonetic spelling of the Chinese description of the food to help us all learn a little more x
Yeah I think so too...but she's so cute & can cook. Yay!

Good thank you
I made these today for dinner and they are absolutely delicious. If only I knew how to add a photo (I only have two pieces left).
Love my new Wok
I m planning to cook the chicken wing tonight
I love your channel. I also love your recipes. But I was wondering since I am allergic to shell fish, is there a substitute for ouster sauce? Thanks
There are vegetarian oyster sauces for sale that use mushroom instead of oyster :)
Do you put any of your stuff like hoisin sauce or oyster sauce or etc in the fridge after opening?
yes, I put hoisin sauce and oyster sauce in the fridge.
Girl! My tongue done slapped my brain!😋🧠
You are awesome!!!🌷🌷🧚🧚✨✨🌹🌹💫💫🙏

l like very much your recipes :)
yay i love chicken wing
Name or link for the cleaver that you're using please!
Mandy, at 1:14 the video shows "1.5 tbsp" of salt. It should be 1.5 tsp.
She said 1 and the half teaspoon of salt, watch the video again.
Awesome
