Lovely podcast! I gave up planting bulbs, unless they are Daffodils. They are the only ones that are left alone. Also deer leave the plants alone. Win win!

Hi, your new dress is gorgeous! And the neckline finishing is lovely. I agree, it just added a very pretty pizazz to the dress. The fabric and colour is so beautiful, as is your very neat lining of the top.
Really glad I found you, I really enjoy your vids. It’s like a lovely visit.
Currently working on an Elton Cardigan for my Mom in Malabrigo Carribeano (teal green, blues & purple) with Drops kid silk in matching teal green called Petrol. And summer knitting usually involves socks. So lacy socks on the needles too. Also still working on my Belle Histoire Tee. I love it. Definitely a pretty knit. I’m doing mine in 100% cotton rather than the mohair/silk yarn shown in the pattern.
Hope you find what’s after your chickens, check thoroughly for any possible entry by predators in their coop. They are sneaky and find spots to dig under. If they are free range, that can be trickier, might be eagles etc. they swoop down and leave no trace behind.

Oh wow 🎉 I’m so excited to have won. Thank you 😘. I love your dress. Makes me want to dust off my sewing machine. I have an antique machine too that I love using occasionally. I hen my second child was born almost 25 years ago my hubby bought me a new machine. It’s getting there in age as well but those good old basic Kenmore machines are so good. I love your advent wrap. Makes me also want to work on a project with my advent yarns. I’d love a fade project. I’ll send you an email with my info. Thanks again ❤

What a lovely dress you made, it looks so good on you 💃I recently made a summer knit - a summer tee called Ever in the book Form by Kim Hargreaves and I ❤ it. It looks so good in the colour I chose. Happy summer knitting and God bless you and your family ❤

Love this new episode! If you wanted a good strapless bra recommendation and don't mind investing a lil more into one, I love the brand Pepper. Their strapless bras fit well and are surprisingly comfortable (made for smaller chests).

Love your ranunculus. I definitely want to knit one. I'm currently knitting the Ilha sweater. It is almost the same color as your ranunculus, but it is a sandnes garn line yarn, and I'm knitting it in a short sleeve for summer. Until next time happy knitting. Diane

I am also looking forward to a pink (yay PINK!) UPwards Top. That yellow one turned out so cute that now I want to knit one too! With the Vilma Top, you could always just tea stain the tank/vest once you’re finished. I’ve done that successfully with cotton in the past.

Cute dress! I wish I liked wearing dresses but I don’t 😮. Lovely podcast as usual. Sorry I don’t have a summer pattern to share with you, I’m currently finishing up a winter cabled hat with worsted weight. 😃 Trying to use up stash and I felt like making something with cables so it is what it is.

Opossums take chickens one at a time, usually from the coop as they are roosting. We lost quite a few to them.

@@sugarfolkhomemade we lost an entire coop of chickens one night to raccoons. We had 3 knobs to turn on the door and they managed to still open it and kill them all. They didn't even eat them. About 30 chickens.

Your dress looks beautiful! I love the elastic. Did you make the flower embroidery in your background? I’m curious about your decor and the pieces that came from your grandma’s antique shop! I am a big reader, I’d love to hear what you are reading too.

We have chickens also. The only issue we've had was with a hawk. The hawk killed several chickens and even a rooster. Often the hawk will carry the entire chicken away.
